  • I didn't know Johnny sang this, too. The Statler Brothers also sing this. I have their Old Testament and New Testament audio cassettes, and this is one of the songs on it.

I bet Johnny's having a great time with the Lord. I can't wait to do same.

  • @lifeishooey We do not go to Heaven when we die. We rest until Jesus returns.

  • @TheKingdomisinHeaven i agree with you! we rest until judgment day :)

  • I read once that Johnny Cash decided to end his life once. He crawled into Nickajack Cave near Chattanooga, Tennessee and planned to crawl deep inside, and lay down and die. He hiked, then crawled until his flashlight went out. Lying in the dark, he said he felt the presence of God that he once felt as a child, and then heard God say, "Get up and go." He followed the air flow to make his way out of the cave, and lived to tell the story of reclaiming his faith in God. I think he was a Christian.

  • @Madmadamimm idk if that story is true or not but he was definately a christian=))

  • he who hasn't sinned cast the 1st stone..... Johnny Cash was one of the largest open honest Christians of our time. Great man, singer, brother to be in heaven one day....

  • @thenathana8er he was a christian, he was good friends with Billy Graham and sang at a crusade of his. He made a film about Jesus and wrote a book abt the Apostle Paul.
