How the fuck do I get this game working? I bought the legit, PAL version, I have a NTSC machine (with swap magic). I mean, what the fuck do I do next? I've been everywhere and all the information is so fucking inconsistent with each other (this works, that works; none of it works, etc.) Does the JAP version allow english subtitles?

Just download the DVD5 version (swap magic does not allow double layer disc) and play it. As far as I know, the PAL MULTI 5 DVD5 version works fine with SM

This game is awesome but frustrating because you don't know your position in the map, and it requieres a very good strategy.It makes you more than scared. The enemies are a real challenge because they can't die, they are smart and fast. The story is intriguing, and even more captivating if you are not Japanese because of the exotic cultural aspects of the game. You become one with each character you play. The world dissappears and you get lost in Hanuda village.

@Bradley12595 Perhaps thats because the game was never released for the US and doesn't work for region one PS2's (Which is yours), if you have a PS3, use that since it doesn't matter where the game is from, if you don't have a PS3, there's nothing you can really do unless you buy a Region two (PAL) PS2.

Zombies are mindless creatures (in today's perspective, I know that voodoo has pretty different point of view on this), Shibitos are living dead enslaved by the God-like superior being whom name I can't seem to recall. They are able to think and do their own decisions. Also, they can speak and be creative.

Zombie, Shibito, Undead, Goul. Really the only difference are names so since we are American we can just call them Zombies or Undead.

Sweet! After I finish the first game I WANT THIS ONE! I hope Siren Blood Curse will get people into this shit on gem. People always called it a rip-off of Silent Hill as if they copyrighted freaking BOMB SIRENS. It's like people saying Dead Space rips from RE4 because of Laser Sights. It's kind of a harsh comparison.

Especially since Siren is in no way Silent Hill in any aspect or concept. I know it sounds silly, but come on! These guys made a good series that deserves some recognition! ^^d

the only thing that i absolutely hate about these games is that they are only really scary one time through. they are good and def an interesting take but to me the scariest series of games to play by yourself is Fatal frame and i know that FF is every-ones favorite but cmon: siren isnt scary, resident evil is pretty much and action game, silent hill is more of just a mind fuck than horror< and the rest are either cheap thrill/scares or fps's........ i know everyones gonna flag me so bring it :P

@bpiaufb fatal fram is a survival horror/fps check out videos on it and you will see what i mean. and the thing is it has set ghost fights and random ones. so think of it like pokemon the ones you see everytime through are trainer battles and the random ones are where yu walk in tall grass. its hard to explain but the random battles are what make the game scary. def the best horro series of all time. idc what anyone says the atmosphere keeps you constantly alert around every corner
