The predatorial edge is more important for a Bond actor to have, or you're going to end up with campy, cheesy bullshit sooner rather than later. That's exactly what happened to Brosnan's later Bond films.

Just because Brosnan is arguably 'prettier' than Craig does not make him a better Bond. What you narrow minded numbskulls are overlooking is that Casino Royale is the beginning of a whole new Bond interpretation, in which he is less the cheesy, lovable action-hero rogue and more Fleming's tough, careful... well, an actual goddamn spy! I like both Brosnan and Craig as Bond, but the two should not be compared due to the two different Bond-worlds in which they belong.
I recognize that Pierce Brosnan was a great James Bond, but he wasn't getting any younger; Daniel Craig brought a more physical quality to the character, less gadgets, more fist pummeling. But I reckon that Pierce had hotter babes.

Wrong, get your facts straight. Neither one does all of their own stunts. Actually, like Daniel, Pierce did a lot of his own stunts which is probably why they are the only two Bonds who kept getting injured. Roger Moore was the only Bond who relied almost entirely on stunt men.
Agreed, It is almost amazing that when Sean started playing Bond he was almost 10 years younger than when Pierce started. Daniel is currently one year younger than when Pierce started at age 42 and Daniel looks a lot older.

There was a reason for the gunbarrel coming at the end of the film. It is a setup for bond 23. Craig's next bond will have the gun barrel at the beginning. Hopefully, he will develop more style, so that he looks like less of a dork walking across the screen.

The Whole Idea behind that book is that Bond is an excellent Baccarat player (although I'm not sure if they played that in the film, I believe they played Poker in the film version) And there isn't much action in it, save him surviving being murdered twice, that sexy car crash (with a less sexy car) and the horrible torture scene.
And if you had read the books, you would understand that Bond isn't meant to be quirky or humourous. He is a cold Bastard, and that sir, is why Cold Craig is better than Slightly Wooden Brosnan (In my opinion)
obviously you sir have been weened on the roger moore movies, which were overall camp, and sort of "spoofs" of Ian Flemings intentions for Bond.
In the books uses flipiant jokes to hide the fact that he actually dislikes taking lives and is suave and extremly sophistiacted. Craig's bond came off as none of those things and he doesn't even fit the description of Bond.
craig has to act a bond that is new to the game, so he is still learning and building the well known character of bond. I think he does very well with that in the first film, i admit in the second film he's more of a Jason Bourne character which is a little disappointing i however, hope in his 3rd bond film he'll play to the character of bond as well as any other.

3. Dalton- the closest to the books
4. Lazenby- would have enjoyed a second outing with him

And thanks for liking the gunbarrels. The rest was quick work, it had to be done in a very short time and the guys were totally unprepared, so we had to come up quickly with some far from brilliant ideas on how to implement the reports of the tv show into this whole Bond thing.
oh no sorry... Roger Moore was a good bond .. I agree that lazenby was a victim of a poor director and a short time (like this video;) ) but Roger Moore was good for a period of time (73 83 even if he played a view to a kill 85) and that period wanted an acting like his... so I'd put Roger Moore at least at the third place after Sean and Timothy and I put brosnan in the 4th cuz he has only goldeneye as you said .. and after that he became tooo predictible..
Roger Moore was furthest from the novels. Part of it goes to the time period, which I dislike as well. It was corny. Plus he even lowered himself to wear a clown outfit (I do realize how it fit with the story).
To be fair I could only do that when Craig is being replaced one day! ;) But seriously: this Bond clip (with all the gunbarrels and stuff) was a one time thing for a tv show, which I left in the meantime. No more Bond from me, I'm afraid. But maybe someone wants to make a sequel someday? ;)

Daniel cannot be compared with the other Bonds lookswise. He has a very good body, but he needs to work on his posture. Pierce had a better six pack than Daniel in Goldeneye. Look at the scene in the sauna with Xenia. As for Daniel having the best voice. Do not make me laugh. Connery smashes him where voice is concerned. Daniel is a good Bond, there is no doubt about that.

His is flatter and more toned from his upper abs to his lower abs. Craig needs to work on his upper abs and his posture and then he would be perfect. Craig's upper abs need to be flatter.

I guess there is no accounting for taste. Daniel Craig is by far the worst looking Bond. He is not ugly, but he comes nowhere close to the others where looks is concerned. Pierce is by far the best looking facially and wears suits the best. He and Sean are the most classy Bonds. Daniel has the best body and he is a very good actor.

The Whole Idea behind that book is that Bond is an excellent Baccarat player (although I'm not sure if they played that in the film, I believe they played Poker in the film version) And there isn't much action in it, save him surviving being murdered twice, that sexy car crash (with a less sexy car) and the horrible torture scene.

In the books uses flipiant jokes to hide the fact that he actually dislikes taking lives and is suave and extremly sophistiacted. Craig's bond came off as none of those things and he doesn't even fit the description of Bond.

craig has to act a bond that is new to the game, so he is still learning and building the well known character of bond. I think he does very well with that in the first film, i admit in the second film he's more of a Jason Bourne character which is a little disappointing i however, hope in his 3rd bond film he'll play to the character of bond as well as any other.

The gun barrel was well done. And all these little kids need to shut up. I grew up with Brosnan too, but don't throw a hissy fit when he dies in a video being a symbol of the coming of a new Bond.
1. Connery- Scotland Forever
2. Brosnan- Goldeneye was awesome, each one after it diminished
3. Dalton- the closest to the books
4. Lazenby- would have enjoyed a second outing with him
5. Moore- nothing like the novels
Won't rate Craig until after 22. If it is as good as the last, he'll be 2nd.

And thanks for liking the gunbarrels. The rest was quick work, it had to be done in a very short time and the guys were totally unprepared, so we had to come up quickly with some far from brilliant ideas on how to implement the reports of the tv show into this whole Bond thing.

oh no sorry... Roger Moore was a good bond .. I agree that lazenby was a victim of a poor director and a short time (like this video;) ) but Roger Moore was good for a period of time (73 83 even if he played a view to a kill 85) and that period wanted an acting like his... so I'd put Roger Moore at least at the third place after Sean and Timothy and I put brosnan in the 4th cuz he has only goldeneye as you said .. and after that he became tooo predictible..

Roger Moore was furthest from the novels. Part of it goes to the time period, which I dislike as well. It was corny. Plus he even lowered himself to wear a clown outfit (I do realize how it fit with the story).
