I totally screamed as well when Laura's name was called. I so expected Jenn's name to be called, but really wanted Laura to move on. Anyway, Tyra said, "The next name I am going to call is..." and I said, "Jenn," and she said "Laura." I shrieked. My husband woke up and ran across the house because he thought I was being attacked.
I REALLY want Nicole to win! She's the whole package: smart, beautiful and seems like a fair person. I also like how she was first portrayed as the awkward weirdo, but now she seems totally normal! I like her! I think she has a good head on her shoulders and would make a fantastic model!

Laura is the sweetest thing on the planet and she can take some AMAZING shots, but Nicole's picture is next to the definition of model when you look it up in the dictionary. They are both fantastic Tyra should do another twist and name them both as America's Next Top Models. It would offset the double elimination from last week.
nicole is awesome, I love her, theres a 75% chance she's going to win. At the same time thats sad for because Laura has come so far and it would be heartbreaking for her to just miss out by a hair one this once in a lifetime dream of hers. Shes such a sweetheart. I hope this cycle does a 180 like it did last cycle with teyona and allison. It's still a mystery to me how teyona won over alison after doing so badly in the last two weeks. Every cycle we get this idea of who's gonna win and we base it on who we feel has been stronger, but the judges always turn up with a crazy decision at the end and its never the girl we thought. Of course in past cycles I've never agreed with the final two because its not true about one of them being good, but this time I do. It could be either one because they offer distinct things and have potential. It's going to be a great finale with a surprising outcome!

Nicole doesn't have the personality to win you can't make it in the industry without a true personality she isn't momerable enough to me i think Laura should win she is charming and sweet and bubly takes great pictures and she is really talented

Last week I thought maybe Laura might win, but now I'm thinking it's probably Nicole. She has a great story of the awkward girl who becomes a super-confident model and I think Tyra will pick her for that. OMG, so totally with you on freaking out about Laura. I wanted her to get it so bad. Nicole and Laura are my favorites and I think this is the first time both of my favorites have ended up top two. I cheeeeered and now I don't know who I want to win, cause I love them both.

And here´s the thing, in cycle 10, they did a photshoot with the brooklyn bridge for elle machperson..kat did a good job, and the photo they chose was awfull!!!!! I think they have done it with some other girls in the competition¬¬ so sad! :(

I think Nicole is the better model (and apparently it's leaked that Nicole wins but pshh whatever) and I'll be happy if she wins, but i'd be happier if Laura won because she's a southern sweetheart with a lot of talent.
Nicole could make it on her own, she's 5' 7" and Laura is 5' 6" and would have more trouble getting jobs, she could use the prizes more than Nicole could. Either way i'll be SO happy :) I miss Jenn, I loved her ;(
I really like both girls, they both seem nice and good models. I think Nicole will win, but personally, it would be a hard decision for me to decide. Hopefully one of them will do much better at the show and will show us she deserves to win. I can't wait to watch it all
i really think it will be nicole.. but i love laura and she has been one of my favorites throughout the whole cycle. and i LOVED jennifer. but yeah, her picture was awful. but anyway.. nicole will probably win even though i'm totally routing for laura.
I've been lucky enough to pick the winner every year except the Allison and Teyona and Joanie and Danielle years, so I'm hoping I am correct in my prediction that Nicole will win, even though I positively adore Laura. Nicole is the better one, both will have great careers, but I hope Laura doesn't get despirited if she comes a very pride-worthy second place.
What a fabulous season! Some of the challenges were ridiculous, and wtf with 'smizing', but the girls have been great to watch throughout!

I actually love love love Nicole, but I hope Laura wins only because I know that Nicole will be an awesome model without the show and I hope that Laura gets her dream of becoming a model and I feel that this show may be her only shot. i agree that the judges didnt really pick nicloes best shot out of all her pics there were a ton of really fierce ones. when tyra called her name first i was like, "YESSS!!!! I LOVE YOU TYRA BANKS!" it was epic. and im so glad that its the 2 nice girls left.
Haha, I screamed at the computer screen when Laura's name was announced! I wouldn't have been too disappointed if Jennifer had been chosen but LAURA AND NICOLE! So happy! How are the judges going to choose?
They NEVER pick the best model to win, so I will be pleasantly surprised if they pick Nicole, but they would be crazy not to. From the start she was the ONLY girl who had any realistic chance of becoming a real supermodel. Every cycle they have these uber all-American pretty girls who quite often don't succeed cause they don't look like models. On Australia's Next Top Model, for example, they pick girls who could actually really impact on the modeling world. Grrr.
Nicole is definitely a better overall **MODEL**. She is FIERCE FIERCE FIERCE!!! And I TOTALLY agree that was not her best picture of the bunch! She esd amazing like always at the photo shoot! They just dont want to let it show that she deserves to win BY FAR! i totally agree with you guys about the pele photoshoot. they could have made it so much more dramatic and high fashion, with hawaiian headdresses, long ceremonial robes, done it at sunset maybe, it could have been so fierce
Oh and PS- I wanted to see the photos of Nicole when it looked like she was walking forward. Those looked amazing. The photo Ty picked made her look like a pregnant tribal woman.
AND - that photo shoot description about being powerful and volcanic was such bs. They gave Erin crap for looking intense...wasn't she supposed to? Not that I'm upset she didn't make it, but those judges contradict themselves every episode.
I agree with you about their photos. Yes Laura looked like Rachel Hunter but she had a deer in the headlights look and not in a good way. And no way that was Nicole's best shot. Nicole seemed like the winner from early on, but if they do equally well on the runway I think Laura will win. There's a reason Tyra pushed her photo; it wasn't that good. But these two girls were my favs so I'm happy with either winning. I just think Nicole deserves to win based on her body of work and commercial.

Okay, here's the thing (ha): number 1! Yeah I'm not convinced that that was Nicole's best shot either, with the body. BUT, her face was so ridiculously beautiful in it that maybe that sold it. Also, Tyra sometimes chooses weird shots because she loves them (remember Caridee on the wobbly runway?!).
Number 2: yeah even though they bigged up Laura's picture to be better than it was, I still think it was much better than Erin...
i also think they took a very weak and lame photo from nicole, during the session she was so on top!

I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited when they called Laura because I thought for sure it was gonna be Erin because I knew that ANTM couldn't let my two favorites be in the final 2, but I was wrong and I'm so happy! i know rite! i thout the photo they picked for nicole was the worse of the girls but i knew she did great. She had a much better picture than that. cool recap! and right on about the photo set-up. I also thought that they chose a weaker photo of Nicole and then hyped Laura. But I'm also really glad that these two won. Nicole just seems like a natural model, she's gorgeous and her photos have the right balance of quirky/awkward and hot. And then Laura is just too likeable, and she moves really well, so when it comes to a walk off... Hm. It's just too exciting :)
This is definitely the best final two EVER! As much as I love Laura, I think Nicole deserves to win the whole thing! I'm excited because in previous cycles, there was always one awkward girl who did well but finally eliminated mid-cycle. But this cycle, the awkward girl (Nicole) really knows what she's doing!
i want nicole to win because bloody eye is the best model. period. but ANTM does this thing where they alternate black girls with blonde girls winning with the errant brunette... look: danielle (black), caridee (blonde), jasleene (errant brunette), saleisha (black), whitney (blonde), mckee (errant brunette), and teyona (black). now they need a blonde to continue the pattern. so it has to be laura. it's just logic.

It's been ages since there's been a Top Model finale where I actually want BOTH girls to win! I love them both and think they have tremendous qualities and both deserve it so either way I will be happy with the outcome! Nicole DESERVES to win ANTM because she delivers a hot shot every time and can easily do high-fashion and not just what is expected of a petite model, which is more commercial work. However, Nicole's final photo in episode 11, which I totally agree, was definitely not her best picture that Tyra chose. FYI, I'm highly thrilled that Laura made it to the finale show because she will be a strong contender against Nicole.

Last week I thought maybe Laura might win, but now I'm thinking it's probably Nicole. She has a great story of the awkward girl who becomes a super-confident model and I think Tyra will pick her for that. They got eliminated why put them in the final runway?

THATS TRUE!!! Nicole had done a better job during the photoshoot, but they showed an "ok" picture ¬¬ ( so annoying! her portfolio would have been great with a better photo)
And here´s the thing, in cycle 10, they did a photshoot with the brooklyn bridge for elle machperson..kat did a good job, and the photo they chose was awfull!!!!! I think they have done it with some other girls in the competition¬¬ so sad! :(

I think Nicole is the better model (and apparently it's leaked that Nicole wins but pshh whatever) and I'll be happy if she wins, but i'd be happier if Laura won because she's a southern sweetheart with a lot of talent.
Nicole could make it on her own, she's 5' 7" and Laura is 5' 6" and would have more trouble getting jobs, she could use the prizes more than Nicole could. Either way i'll be SO happy :) I miss Jenn, I loved her ;(

I've been lucky enough to pick the winner every year except the Allison and Teyona and Joanie and Danielle years, so I'm hoping I am correct in my prediction that Nicole will win, even though I positively adore Laura. Nicole is the better one, both will have great careers, but I hope Laura doesn't get despirited if she comes a very pride-worthy second place.
What a fabulous season! Some of the challenges were ridiculous, and wtf with 'smizing', but the girls have been great to watch throughout!

Seriously, Jennifer should have NEVER made top four. her face looks the same in every picture, and what is up with that mouth? CLOSE IT ALREADY! Lol. No diversity whatsoever. I agree with you that they picked the most horrid picture of Nicole to downplay her because they knew she was top 2 pick. Mr. Jay and the photographer were going on and on about her, and seriously... that was her best one? Yeah right! I'm happy Laura made it. I love her! I'm happy for both of them!

It's funny how Tyra didn't mention Laura's abysmal film, and praised the photo, while Nicole had an awesome shoot, and they criticised her at panel.
You just have to look at Jay at the photo shoot, he obviously didn't get the memo about slanting the results ^^

They NEVER pick the best model to win, so I will be pleasantly surprised if they pick Nicole, but they would be crazy not to. From the start she was the ONLY girl who had any realistic chance of becoming a real supermodel. Every cycle they have these uber all-American pretty girls who quite often don't succeed cause they don't look like models. On Australia's Next Top Model, for example, they pick girls who could actually really impact on the modeling world. Grrr.

Nicole is definitely a better overall **MODEL**. She is FIERCE FIERCE FIERCE!!! And I TOTALLY agree that was not her best picture of the bunch! She esd amazing like always at the photo shoot! They just dont want to let it show that she deserves to win BY FAR! She is the best model I have ever seen on this show NO LIE and she is only 18! she is going to KICK in the modeling world whether she wins or not! GO NICOLE!

I think Nicole's more talented, but I think Laura will win...like **prediction** they'll do a commercial and she'll be bubbly and cool...It's going to be the classic situation where the 2nd runner up is the real model, who gets more jobs than the actual winner (although Laura IS very good)..i'm thinking like Anya...

Oh and PS- I wanted to see the photos of Nicole when it looked like she was walking forward. Those looked amazing. The photo Ty picked made her look like a pregnant tribal woman.
AND - that photo shoot description about being powerful and volcanic was such bs. They gave Erin crap for looking intense...wasn't she supposed to? Not that I'm upset she didn't make it, but those judges contradict themselves every episode.

I agree with you about their photos. Yes Laura looked like Rachel Hunter but she had a deer in the headlights look and not in a good way. And no way that was Nicole's best shot. Nicole seemed like the winner from early on, but if they do equally well on the runway I think Laura will win. There's a reason Tyra pushed her photo; it wasn't that good. But these two girls were my favs so I'm happy with either winning. I just think Nicole deserves to win based on her body of work and commercial.

Carolyn...I totally did the same friggin thing. Only I live alone, and felt like a d-bag so I did a high-V with a very exuberantly whispered "YEEEEEAH."
I almost think since Nicole seems like the obvious winner that it's gonna be Laura. They keep showing clips of her talking about how she wants to be a role model for her family and Tyra's all about that ca ca poo.
Honestly at this point though...I'm happy they both made it to the finale!

I was so excited, Carolyn, I think we had the exact same response when they called Nicole and Laura. I am so convinced that Nicole had much better photos. I agree with you Pat, they didn't want it to be obvious she was being chosen. I really want to see her other photos though, they cheated me out of a great photo to look at.
I did like Jen, she was sweet, but I was getting tired of how often she yelled in her one-on-ones.
I am was so sick of Erin, poop sandwich.

So, best top two ever! I will be happy whoever wins now. Although if I could choose, I would slightly prefer Laura, JUST BECAUSE Nicole is a bit taller and has a kickass portfolio so she would be more likely to get work without the win. xxx

That was literally my *exact* reaction to Laura being called as well!
Okay, here's the thing (ha): number 1! Yeah I'm not convinced that that was Nicole's best shot either, with the body. BUT, her face was so ridiculously beautiful in it that maybe that sold it. Also, Tyra sometimes chooses weird shots because she loves them (remember Caridee on the wobbly runway?!).
Number 2: yeah even though they bigged up Laura's picture to be better than it was, I still think it was much better than Erin...

i know rite! i thout the photo they picked for nicole was the worse of the girls but i knew she did great. She had a much better picture than that. I think nicole will be the winner because shes amazing, but a lot of people will be mad at that because Nicole would not be the shortest antm. Eva was 5'6 Nicole is 5'7. Lauras awsome too and makes me happy :) Im soo happy that bitch erin didnt get in. I would have thrown the remote at the the tv. Cant wait for the finale.

So mad, I realized there isn't going to be a go-see challenge!!! That's the hardest challege. Glad Carolyn was on ^^ - the picture were all horrible, it was like Tyra was trying to choose their worst photos for eveyone except Erin and Laura....I'm glad Laura's in the top two bith I feel like it was a fluke and Jen was meant to be up there with Nicole. i think that Nicole is diverse and beautiful in that weird way that they are looking for, but since the final challenge is a runway i think that Laura could win because Nicole is a lot more uncoordinated and less graceful. But i will be happy either way. :]

cool recap! and right on about the photo set-up. I also thought that they chose a weaker photo of Nicole and then hyped Laura. But I'm also really glad that these two won. Nicole just seems like a natural model, she's gorgeous and her photos have the right balance of quirky/awkward and hot. And then Laura is just too likeable, and she moves really well, so when it comes to a walk off... Hm. It's just too exciting :)

This is definitely the best final two EVER! As much as I love Laura, I think Nicole deserves to win the whole thing! I'm excited because in previous cycles, there was always one awkward girl who did well but finally eliminated mid-cycle. But this cycle, the awkward girl (Nicole) really knows what she's doing!

i want nicole to win because bloody eye is the best model. period. but ANTM does this thing where they alternate black girls with blonde girls winning with the errant brunette... look: danielle (black), caridee (blonde), jasleene (errant brunette), saleisha (black), whitney (blonde), mckee (errant brunette), and teyona (black). now they need a blonde to continue the pattern. so it has to be laura. it's just logic.

when laura was called and she started crying.... omgosh, i totally started tearing up too!! i love her!! she is so REAL and down to earth! i can relate so much to her and i hope she wins, just because i love her so much! :)

I am so happy, my 2 favorits from day one is in the finale. they are the cutest, the most beautiful, the nicest girls there and they both are amazing models.
i really dont care who will win this cause i love them both equally.

I think I broke the couch cuz I was jumping so much! I love both of them, but I want Nicole to win!
I want her to win because there has never been someone like her win before, she's smart, beautiful, and she can finally prove to all those people at her school that dissed her that she's better than them! Hahaha. GO NICOLE!!!!!!! :D

It's been ages since there's been a Top Model finale where I actually want BOTH girls to win! I love them both and think they have tremendous qualities and both deserve it so either way I will be happy with the outcome! It's nice to have a finale where everyone can be happy :) You guys are amazing as always, I love when you get all hyper and it great to watch you guys after the episode. All the best, Gav x

Nicole DESERVES to win ANTM because she delivers a hot shot every time and can easily do high-fashion and not just what is expected of a petite model, which is more commercial work. However, Nicole's final photo in episode 11, which I totally agree, was definitely not her best picture that Tyra chose. FYI, I'm highly thrilled that Laura made it to the finale show because she will be a strong contender against Nicole.
