Great video. Hereford's in a bit of a state right now though (like a lot of places). So many shops are closing down, so there's very little to do, and not many job opportunities.
The younger people are moving away, and people close to retirement age are moving in.
I live out in the Herefordshire countryside, and I must say, Hereford is a beautiful place.
The countryside is beautiful, especially on Woolhope Dome and towards the Black Mountains. Alot of depression though, and lots of boorish, uncouth, insular people (noted in Civil Service briefings on the area). However in amongst the bovine there are occasional gems of people. Whether they are enough to redeem the town is another matter entirely.
i live in hereford n to tell u the truth it never changes for the better. i reli think it is a crap twn n ive bin here all my life n im bored there is nothin here anymore. cnt wait to move away but i wuld still miss it cuz obviously its still my home with all my friends and family xx
I love hereford its still good but you would not believe how good it used to be in the 70s. The people the way of life the excitement with the football team etc.
I was born in Hereford n lived there for 4 years. even though i moved i try and return to my home town when ever possible as i miss it... such a beautiful place, will always b in my heart.
aww miss hereford, lived there for 16 years, and 2 years ago i moved to leeds :( although hereford is small and a bit boring, it will always be my home no matter what :)
What a lovely place to go, Highly recommended, superb people, great nights out, fine food served in a warm welcoming atmosphere, lots of historic places to see, warm hearted policemen that are only to willing to help, fantastic transport links, great local papers that keep you fully informed of all the activities, even the local farm animals are pleasant, the birds greet all visitors with a warm welcome and the angels guide you through the day, even the local cats greet you with a smile ,Hereford ?
