No, I didn't move to Columbia until 1989. But I spent a lot of money at Superior Feet. I didn't discover the Nick Pagan or the Fanatics singles until a few years later. "Citizen X" is an all-time classic. One of the best undiscovered punk tracks of all time.
... back when USC in Columbia had: a student funded campus bar called the Spur, and campus radio DJ's who could free play what they wanted. Sudents still bragged on the Greene Street streaking record, Athens was worth the drive, Mitch Easter was cutting records in Charlotte, Gamecocks played in the stupid Metro, Abbie spoke at the Student Union, and smoking was not all that bad for you.
Also seen dancing is FM DJ and X Records store owner Ron Marsh. I do like to remember people they way they were.
Great clip, thanks.

Blast from the past! This was a couple of years before my time in Columbia, and Nick had a different band... but still singing in an English accent!

Didn't think I'd see Nick Pagan on youtube. Is that Carol from Superior Feet?
