  • It's like, Jimmy Page's guitar can sing. Really well. So well Robert doesn't have to sing for over ten minutes in a song and no one would care.

Why the fuck can't artists be this great anymore. I hate being 16. This generation sucks.

  • in the 90s i went 4 years to this festival (bizarre) , the year page & plant where headliner , i WASNT and i could slap me in my face again and again ...

amazing show , and pagey plays a PRS guitar ...

  • 6:24 Page having a bit of fun!

  • hate to be a cynic but I never saw a compliment on youtube for Mike lee while he was alive . It was always 'he aint Bonzo !"

  • RIP Michael Lee, you are missed.

  • They should live forever and keep playing music

  • that opening with the riff sounds exactly like killing joke. anyone notice that?

  • @keeelane Page is a big fan of Killing Joke .He presented them with some award in England a couple yrs ago

  • I saw this show live in Seattle, this song kick my ass....RIP Mike Lee.

  • OK... that sucked.

  • such a great album, this shouldve been a zeppelin album, this tour and album almost tore a rift between page plant, and jones he wanted to do this with them so bad

  • Shit, Pagey tears those strings up at the end, impressive.

  • @the mahagoni yes, they mean clarksdale mississippi. robert plant visits here when he is close by, and tutwiler, mississippi. tutwiler is where w.c.handy first saw someone playing & singing the blues. also robert donated a piece to the delta blues museum on zepp's behalf to thank all the bluesmen who came before and were an influence to the band.

  • Whoa...Page is playing a PRS. Awesome.

  • @rune2222 like Santana..great!! :D

  • @rune2222 its just wierd man! wat the F*&ck! sound great!

  • @rune2222 its just wierd man! wat the F*&ck! sound great! dont go out of tune once!

  • they don't mean claksdale mississippi do they?

  • @TheMahagoni yes they are.

  • whos a john bonham? answer, nobody. Hes a good drummer though.

  • Page is epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Woah, Page playing a PRS McCarty Trem!!! Didn't expect that. More than validates the one I just bought, then!

    Love this song.

  • i want to clarksdale went down to the crossroads to it was fun =)

  • jimmy and robert still got it

  • I think Page plays a great solo. If I were to play this video to my dad he'd probably say,"Page is rusty. He doesn't play like he did in the 70's." Annoys the crap out of me. He likes Zeppelin but I don't think he has the Led ears like I do. Page, in a lot of ways, is better these days in my opinion.

  • Jimmy page has style alot of musicians don't recognise it because they don't have it!

  • Agreed!

  • page was never rusty - he always chooses what and how to play - it just might sound rusty but there are reasons for that.

cool that you have good ears!

  • RIP Micheal Lee, NEXT to BONZO you WERE the best

  • I was always impressed with Michael Lee. Sure, no one can beat John Bonham. But Michael Lee would blow me away and thought he was a perfect fit for this band. To be honest, I'm not impressed with Jason Bonham. He's a good drummer and he has Bonham blood but he doesn't blow me away like John Bonham or Michael Lee did.

  • i live next to the cross roads of highway 61 and 49

  • This one is new to me: magnificent! It's definitely got that classic Zep epic quality to it. Love Jimmy's trem usage.

  • dang. i wish i was ther

  • What a powerful song!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Hey that's Jimmy! And that's a PRS!! Never seen him with that guitar before :D

  • HELL YEAH Jimmy and Robert Rock! I love this song, I'd say that it was my fave since Zepp :)

  • AWESOME

  • That drummer is really good, awseome job

  • F*cking awesome.. I love this song.. played it over and over.. way too many thanks for posting!!

  • Amazing post, Page looks like he needs to lose the Black Sweats though, lol

  • wow this is exciting, and fresh.awsome Led heads.thnx for posting.

  • Mever mind about Walking into Clarksdale, Page bears a striking resemblance to Jeremy CLARKSON here... scary!

Thanks for uploading this, great stuff!

  • I love this album lent it out never got it back fantastic! Where did you get this 5*****!

  • a long time ago this performance was broadcasted on tv and i got on video tape, luckily

  • Thank you for posting it Page really seemed to tip his hat more too his heros with the different styles he addopted! Rather than trying too throw all his cliches in brilliant stuff!

  • Where is the Bizarre Festival held at?????Does Castle Donnington still do a Monsters of Rock festival????

  • now i really want a PRS seeing that Jimmy is playing one.

  • Lol, Seriously though, I've seen Jimmy Page use a strat before (mostly for those tremolo parts in "In the Evening") but a PRS?! wtf lol. Awesome though, absolutely awesome.

I guess nothing can knock a good, vibrant Gibson les paul but a PRS deffinitely beats a strat on most accounts (since the bridge is much better, more solid construction, and the push/pull knobs really do make those PRS humbuckers sound like a strat single coils).

  • What? A Strat is an excellent solid guitar. What have you been smoking?

  • tons better than the studio version, makes more sense here

  • OMG i Page is playing a PRS!

  • Yes good song, they should play this on the radio, at least I dont hear it out there.

  • This whole album rocks and needs more radio play !!!

  • Amen to that bro! I bought the cassette the day it came out. I've got the CD too. Great music, and has the Delta feel for real. I know because I'm from the country just outside of Clarksdale.

  • These guys are blues freaks, and I agree with the blues feeling in there music. Are there any blues covers on this CD?

  • No covers on the album. The album has a lot of diversity. Every song sounds different and you can hear so many different influences. Some songs have more than one type of musical influence in 'em. I think it's a classic album and should have sold better. If you like Led Zeppelin than it's definitely a must own album! Buy it right now if you don't own it. Trust me. Jones and Bonham aren't there so it doesn't sound exactly like Led Zeppelin but it's still great.
