Geeze Perhaps people in church don't deserve to see this dance if they are concerned about the costume. They don't appreciate your talent which was incredible as well as the choreography. I think the dance is beautiful. great dancers and choreography although for liturgical dance the dresses could have used palazzo pants underneath ...just a little too much skin for the venue. other than that it really ministered and is wonderful. Being that the ladies obviously have secular dance training they may just need a little guidance on attire proper for praise dance.

although i agree with you, you can't just offend these girls by calling them prude and disgusting because you yourself are acting sinfull. look at how dadsprincessnikki handled this situation in the comments below. it could be that these girls were unaware of this fact to be such a problem.
Thank you for your constructive criticism, I don't argree with you though. I see no problem in what we wore. We have liners, tights, modest leotards, and dresses. The churches we dance at always approve of our apperial. :)

Yes around here what we are wearing is considered very acceptable. That's just the norm for worship dancing. Some places may be different, but in the kansas city area this is WAY covered up. Also there is something to be said for not making everything so smothered in bulky clothing that you can't see the dancers lines. What's the point of dancing then? Just my friendly two cents. :)

My dance instructor who came from a secular ballet environment taught us the principles of worshipping in dance and it calls for loose clothing, covered so that all focus is in the Lord and not on us or what we are wearing.
1 Sam. 6 states that King David "disrobed". This does not mean that he danced naked before the Lord...it means that he removed his kingly garments and danced as a priest (with a linen ephod).

Nice dance but there should be more covering. This amount of flesh showing is fine for secular ballet but not for dances for the Lord.
