Way too big explosive! Wanna kill the guy for real? A proper squid uses around the amount of a finger-tip of blackpowder. Also u might wanna think about igniting it electrically.

@ned316 please don't use such a big cracker for a squib. Something smaller will do. Blackpowder should be legal in small amounts. Just watch out with that stuff and don't use too much of it. start slow.

the effect was not that impressive! at least to me. and I think that this is a very potentialy dangerous method! a cheap chinese shit ass firework is no replacement for an authentic pyro squib! and no pro I know would take chances with this crazy stuff! the airborne flying debri alone from this could harm people! but have fun with it. hope you dont end up with a huge wawsuit after you injur an actor!

what u should do instead is cut the fuse in half, tape the tip of a match to the fuse, then tape the metal thing that ignites model rockets to the match head this way u can press the launch button when u want ur actor to get shot also a condom is better to hold blood because its thinner material

Well, I'm not sure about that one, since it does use a cutting board and has a big bang, but I've done the same style but with small, stereotypical fire crackers and blood filled condoms.

Instead of using a cutting board, I just used a square piece of cardboard. The anticipation of the bang hurts more then the bang.

Matter of fact, the bang doesn't hurt at all.

I suppose for a shotgun wound, this idea works out great, but needs a little more blood.
