As a Corpsman with a USMC Rifle Company, I had the honor of serving with some of the most outstanding human beings I've ever met. @RIVOTHEAD13 Yes Mike McColgan, the leader singer, use to be the old singer for Dropkick Murphys, but he always wanted to become a fire fighter because of a family influence so he left the band. Ofcourse he wanted to go back to music and that's where this great band emmerged

War is a horrible, horrible thing. A lot of these men enlisted when the war effort still meant something in this country, and they didn't expect it to be like this. They're following orders, as fucked up as they may be.
I'm anti war. And by that token, I want our soldiers to come home RIGHT NOW. That's the whole point.

you know i'm not from the US, i am from germany. and the germans said that after hitler's empire germany should never attack other countries. the americans have their bills of rights and we germans have our own constitution, too of course. it's written their that germany's army is only activ if our country is attacked or another european leagued state is under attack. nowadays german troops are fighting in afghanistan. that makes no sence at all. our army is built to defend - not to attack!

As a Corpsman with a USMC Rifle Company, I had the honor of serving with some of the most outstanding human beings I've ever met. Thank you much man. Talked to recruiters yesterday and the Army shot me down since i graduated from an online school and they're above their quota. They told me to look into the air force though, which I'm doing currently.

I've been looking at the National Guard I might join I might not. I've been told since I'm going to go to college to become a college teacher on wars and specialize in certian stuff I should learn military tactics first hand. I still haven't made up my decision though.
