  • @KatoKid85

you jelly my parents just bought me a new one to? haha sucks to be you

  • How come no one on these reviews never mention diesel v6? I'm from Australia, they have em here.

  • @MeMrJust Not available in the States.

  • @stevehammes Not available YET, Chrysler stated they will bring a new diesel for 2013

  • @GtzNotorious hopefully they sell well and they decide to bring the diesel 4 cyl to the wrangler

  • this truck is gorgeous...my '07 GL 450 is such a disappointment, I'm trading it in for either the new GC or the Durango. Legendary Hemi engine bolted on a Mercedes chassis, 4-matic or quadra AWD system? Yes please!

  • i think that this is the first Jeep that is actual quality for this millennium!

  • very good

  • jeep grand cherokee is better faster and stronger than toyota land cruiser and can beat it in anychallenge (off roading-drag racing) anychallenge

  • What exactly is quadra drive II that is only available on v8 models?

  • Once Chrysler/Dodge or what ever you want to call them learns to bring the diesel engine to the US market than I will buy one but until then I'll stick with my big 4x4 diesel trucks. Thanks but no thanks.

  • After I saw this video 2 weeks ago I got this car for my 16th birthday and this car was worth all the money I spend for it thanks Steve

  • @MrImakillyou Dont you mean the money your parents spent on it? You spoiled little bratt

  • @KatoKid85 lol

  • looks like a gmc terrian

  • wow cars are just getting so overpriced

  • jeep grand cherokee's are my fav!.. my family has all jeeps frm yrs 99'- 11'

  • is there a diesel engine model...i know acceleration is great with petrol, but a big fuel-sucking SUV sure drains a lot of money for everyday use...

  • @AngryBirdSEASONS If you live outside USA then there's a diesel with 450 lbs of torque.

    cheers

  • @mahatmacoatmahandbag

xD haha im still waiting for it to arrive in my country haha.

  • @AngryBirdSEASONS it went on sale in Holland and Germany in June.so it's slowly getting there.hang on in there I suppose.

    watch?v=ms3kbQscNi0

    cheers

  • Heated steering wheel? Really? Like, really?

  • Thank God Jeep didn't take the GC down market as far as Ford did with the Explorer. I don't think anyone, even Jeep die-hards, would have tolerated a wrong-wheel-drive GC with a sideways mounted engine!! Jeep is still the one and only best SUV in the world! Ford might as well just shut down Explorer production now before they get embarassed any more...

  • @tjhaywood100 Even the stupid employees at Ford said the new Explorer was for soccer mom's and not off roaders anymore. I have seen 2 where I live and have been disgusted that people actually buy it.

  • @a7x5631 I know. If you'll notice, all the factory '11 Explorer videos have women describing it while all the Jeep vids have men. That's the difference. Men designed the GC while women designed the Explorer. That's why the '11 Ex is a cheesy, wrong-wheel-drive, watered down, emasculated version of its former self while the GC is better than ever!

  • no low range check

    no locking diff check

  • wienerschnitzel... isnt that austrian... or german? lol good review though

  • Stop saying Naviiii, it's navigation!

  • @The1andonlyBYack I've been calling it a 'navi' sice the first one hit the market over a decade ago...and so do millions of others. But you can call it whatever you'd like!

  • This is Chrysler not Ford.....it can tow 6200 lbs....get it right and no the Quadra Drive II is available for all models.....you can get the 5.7L Hemi on any model as an option as well!

  • @howhigh42090 Well I "got it right" as you say...All models can tow trailers up to 5,000 pounds with the addition of a trailer hitch.

  • @howhigh42090 Oh, and I almost forgot: Quadra Drive II is only availbale on V8 models...like you said, "get it right."

  • @stevehammes I stand corrected, the V-8 is for limited and up!

  • @howhigh42090 no it isn't.V8 is an option for laradoX,limited and the 2 overlands.consider yourself not corrected

  • @howhigh42090

The 5.7L HEMI has a 6 speed auto for '12.

  • The new Grand Cherokee and Ford Explorer make some the GM suvs look like junk. GM needs to improve their styling and interiors.

  • @BusterBunker I just wish they'd stop making vehicles altogether.

  • The seats seem like they came from Mercedes ML

  • @PkBooYa This GC is based on the ML platform but Mercedes for some strange reason has ML models listed under the "M" class.

  • The only misspeak I noticed was that the Garmin Nav is not an "after marker" rig, instead it's actually a software package added to the same head unit. You can get no nav, with the screen as shown in the review, a Garmin nav software package which is truly the best option, or Jeep's more proprietary nav software which is worse in its execution, however, adds some voice features that the Garmin level doesn't have. Skip the voice and go with the Garmin level, for sure.

  • Drove this and a new VW Touareg. The VW has much more steering feel, grip, and better handling on the road. It's also more expensive and our local VW dealers at least have a terrible reputation. This is a great vehicle if you really do go off road. It looks great, most crossovers do not. But based purely on function there are probably better vehicles out there for overall costs of operation and performance (Acura MDX, etc). Still, this is a surprisingly nice vehicle.

  • damn....I really enjoyed this review... Good job man....

  • @M5Marco Thanks very much. It's my understanding that Quadra Drive II is only for V8 models.

  • Do they build press cars just for that use? or are they sold?

  • @steve9509 Some are purpose-built just for press fleets. After about 10,000 miles they either go to the crusher or up for sale within the company.

  • @stevehammes Thanks! i love your videos btw!

  • @stevehammes Like they really go to a Junk Yard?

  • id rather get my raptor for 46k

  • @austinman1995 Mostly because people don't know where to go for aftermarket products. But the Chrysler nav package with standard nav features also includes a 30 GB hard drive for music/video storage, CD/DVD player, Bluetooth, Sirius satellite integration, and Aux and USB inputs that let you rip CDs and transfer data from flash drives, etc. I'm probably not looking hard enough, but right now I'm hard-pressed to find an aftermarket system that has EVERYTHING rolled up into one svelte unit.

  • Sad that the most "important" product in the Chrysler lineup group gets under 22mpg and costs over $30,000 lol...

Not knocking the GC (it looks amazing) but when is Chrysler ever going to be viable making small and midsize cars again?

  • @UInACrash SUVs still have a market; there a just certain things a small or midsize vehicle cannot do when one has a family. It wasn't until recently that Americans realized that smaller vehicles do exist and are viable - very cache.

  • Na. But I love my jeep. Il get one of these in a few years

  • So handsome.

  • This Jeep costs the same as a BMW 1-series costs in Europe... HAHA OMG, you Americans are so lucky that you don't realize it yourself!

  • I want one =( bought a brand new 2010 wrangler before this came out tho. Dang.

  • @amsser2 would you lose much if you traded it in for this monster?

  • Great review! where did you take it offroad?

  • @buickboy92 Albany County, New York

  • Its ugly. Jeep is losing its touch with its roots with crap like this. Its overpriced too.

  • I LOVE it!

  • the angles are softer, almost like a mini-van.

  • @MrFrozenCanuck Good point.

  • Very nice jeep, had to get used to it first but like it alot now

  • I'm so proud of Jeep!

  • Looks nice, but I wish they would bring out a diesel version for North America, power and great fuel economy.

  • @kimchi1977

Meh, Chrysler doesn't have any good diesels just yet. Cummins is not fuel efficient at all.
