When the V12 rpm go down it make some strange noise.sound like "da da da"(I've been watch all the video on youtube and every one has that problem...else V8 and V10)
@mildogslad SoundRacer works with most cars in the world, also with automatic and diesel cars, but not with hybrid and EV yet. You can find more info on the website soundracer dot se, also a list of tested car models.
@SSKkill That is easy to answer, It is my test setup where I can compare different SoundRacer configurations during development just by changing the radio stations. I have set the SoundRacers to three different FM frequencies and select then instantly with the program buttons on the radio. Or I can change asily between a V8, V10 and V12.
I'd really like to buy one but I dont think I want the nonstop popping sound. Probably gonna have to go with v8/10 one, cant decide. How about you add an extra botton to switch between v8/10/12 with and without popping.. i'll even pay 5euros extra for it then! xD
@Simon2600 It is not a "nonstop" popping sound, it only appears at fast reductions in rpm, never in acceleration, constant speed or slow rpm reductions. I really think that you will like it when you hear it live.
The powerful microprocessor we use for SoundRacer is not available with more internal memory than we use for the V12 so it is not possible to store several sounds with the present design. (V8/V10 have a processor with less memory)
@eaanon01 As you can read on soundracer.se we have developed simulated exhaust pops and bangs that are typical for a hard driven, racing tuned engine when the throttle is released. The video recording sound cannot reproduce it good enough but when you hear it in a car it is quite fun and add to the exciting SoundRacer experience.
@arsenalfan4life1993 Our retailers in USA, Japan, Australia, Norway and Korea have just received their first deliveries of the V12 Ferrari sound units, shipments from our warehouse in Sweden to other countries will start later this week.
@eltotoX We have developed a special microprocessor software that detects and analyze the small pulses from the alternator on the 12V system, separate these pulses from the other electrical noise and transforms them to rpm information.
@safaranomen Sure, you can just plug it into almost any car. SoundRacer works in most cars in the world, both old and new ones, manual and automatic, gas and diesel. See the list of hundreds of compatible car models on soundracer.se
@trivintos Good news! The first production units will leave factory this week, you can expect to see the first SoundRacer V12 in shops and Internet sites by end of next week. You can contact the nearest retailer and ask, see Where to buy on soundracer.se to find them.
