  • I'm so putting this in my G-Whiz

  • lol just get a intake kit for your ride bro lol you will get out about 3to7hp on any kits

  • 3rpm scream like 10 !

  • men your crazy

  • i think the v8 and v12 are the best ones

  • wow just what i want...my car to sound 10x more powerful then it is yet run the same

  • I saw a similar gadget but use in a small electric car. LOL, LOL, lol

  • What is missing is the sirens from police trying to chasing you. lol lol

  • can people outside the car hear that sound ?

  • @jimmy851210 only through speakers but always you can open your windows :P

  • if you have speakers outside the car...so yes!

  • @jimmy851210 it comes through on the radio speakers, it would be better if there were spkrs outside your car

  • When the V12 rpm go down it make some strange noise.sound like "da da da"(I've been watch all the video on youtube and every one has that problem...else V8 and V10)

    What is that?

  • @lewismile That is simulated backfires when you release the throttle, sounds more fun irl than on video though.

  • What would it sound like if you hit 6500rpm!!! I think your Speaker's would explode!

  • Ha ha good shit, I'm considering getting one although my ute is loud anyway, but for 50 bucks, why not!

  • how does it know your rpms??

  • @DavidKneiber it reads alternator signal on the 12V jack where you plug the soundracer

  • do you need to have a manual car to use one of these? How about an automatic?

  • @mildogslad SoundRacer works with most cars in the world, also with automatic and diesel cars, but not with hybrid and EV yet. You can find more info on the website soundracer dot se, also a list of tested car models.

  • Amagazine sound !!!!!

  • looooooooool XD Haha

  • My question - why did he put three of sound racers together???????? Look to the right hand side and under the glove box...

  • @SSKkill That is easy to answer, It is my test setup where I can compare different SoundRacer configurations during development just by changing the radio stations. I have set the SoundRacers to three different FM frequencies and select then instantly with the program buttons on the radio. Or I can change asily between a V8, V10 and V12.

  • I'd really like to buy one but I dont think I want the nonstop popping sound. Probably gonna have to go with v8/10 one, cant decide. How about you add an extra botton to switch between v8/10/12 with and without popping.. i'll even pay 5euros extra for it then! xD

  • @Simon2600 It is not a "nonstop" popping sound, it only appears at fast reductions in rpm, never in acceleration, constant speed or slow rpm reductions. I really think that you will like it when you hear it live.

The powerful microprocessor we use for SoundRacer is not available with more internal memory than we use for the V12 so it is not possible to store several sounds with the present design. (V8/V10 have a processor with less memory)

  • What is the annoiing ticking sound when you change gear?

  • @eaanon01 As you can read on soundracer.se we have developed simulated exhaust pops and bangs that are typical for a hard driven, racing tuned engine when the throttle is released. The video recording sound cannot reproduce it good enough but when you hear it in a car it is quite fun and add to the exciting SoundRacer experience.

  • Ericsson Center Gällivare Sweden.

0970-66970, they have them in stock,.

  • When will you guys release a Soundracer device with a Honda engine (like k20 som exempel), with the vtec recorded to =D

  • where can you get this ferrari one?

  • @arsenalfan4life1993 Our retailers in USA, Japan, Australia, Norway and Korea have just received their first deliveries of the V12 Ferrari sound units, shipments from our warehouse in Sweden to other countries will start later this week.

  • @eltotoX We have developed a special microprocessor software that detects and analyze the small pulses from the alternator on the 12V system, separate these pulses from the other electrical noise and transforms them to rpm information.

  • @TheSoundRacer Ah I suspected something like that but didn't think the fluctuations would be so perceptible. Awesome!

  • can the soundracer be used in more than one car?

  • @safaranomen Sure, you can just plug it into almost any car. SoundRacer works in most cars in the world, both old and new ones, manual and automatic, gas and diesel. See the list of hundreds of compatible car models on soundracer.se

  • but will it give the driver fake perception of road condition.

  • sounds like thunder move like snails

  • @Devastationable Yes, that the idea with SoundRacer, enjoy the exciting engine sounds without burning a lot of fuel with a large engine.

  • omg that car is so nice when in motion to see the instrument cluster in action, wowowow the center speedo is awesome !!!!!!!!! :D

  • new saab 95, nice ride!

  • If only this was available when C'était un rendez-vous was filmed... It would sure help Claude Lelouch with the 450 SEL 6.9. :)

  • Great!

When and where is the SoundRacer V12 available for purchase?

  • @trivintos Good news! The first production units will leave factory this week, you can expect to see the first SoundRacer V12 in shops and Internet sites by end of next week. You can contact the nearest retailer and ask, see Where to buy on soundracer.se to find them.
