I'm with James 081294 on this. You played the D scale. If you are playing alone or with another Bflat instrument you call it as you see it: that's a D scale.
Now if the piano player says "we're gonna play a Blues in C" then you get ready to play a D scale. But generally you don't read D and call it a C.
@james081294 Most trumpets are in a B flat tuning, So when a trumpet player plays what looks like a C on paper, it is really a B flat. everything is off a whole step. It can be confusing when trying to play with others from a single piece of music.

minor blues, not major. It's based off of the minor scale (flat 3rd and 7th, and minor also has flat 6th but not blues)
