  • D MINOR, NOT C MAJOR

  • minor blues, not major. It's based off of the minor scale (flat 3rd and 7th, and minor also has flat 6th but not blues)

  • that is D scale C has no sharps or flats

  • arpejio????

  • @oncgtravis ugh dude...... really? you are going to ask that?

  • @Veksta im just kidden my private music teacher tells me that every time i do the scale its very annoying i just wanted to see it from the other end

  • Dude that is a D blues scale not C!!!

  • I'm with James 081294 on this. You played the D scale. If you are playing alone or with another Bflat instrument you call it as you see it: that's a D scale.

Now if the piano player says "we're gonna play a Blues in C" then you get ready to play a D scale. But generally you don't read D and call it a C.

Thanks for the video though, nice sound.

  • thanks man you saved me! i was suppose to write a blues song and this scale saved me! thanks again :D

  • except thats the D Blues scale not the C Blues scale.... (Should be C Eb F Gb G Bb C)

  • @james081294 he said C major not C.

  • @james081294 Most trumpets are in a B flat tuning, So when a trumpet player plays what looks like a C on paper, it is really a B flat. everything is off a whole step. It can be confusing when trying to play with others from a single piece of music.

  • @jaohlert I apologise, thanks for setting me straight :)

  • @bandit600X smartmusic
