This is cool as shit! Witnessed this tour myself in Hawaii. Journey was on their "departure" tour, I was 13 years old. Awesome time in my life!

Damn Steves voice is insane on this. As with most singers it did diminish a bit with age but with Steve he had so much goddamn range to begin with it didnt make much of a difference! The 1994 Steve solo gig is still fuckin kick ass!

This is the real Journey! I was lucky enough to have seen them during this tour. This was the Departure tour and it was awesome! I wasn't much older than 3 then. My whole immediate family went. Perry could do whatever he wanted with his voice back then. Those were the good ol' days. Today's Journey makes me think about that part in Rush Hour 2 at that asian karaoke bar and Chris Tucker says "The man's destroying a classic!"

Departure is my fave Journey album, and I was all of 1 year old in 1980. Being so young, I never got the opportunity to see Journey live with Perry. Thank goodness for YouTube!!
