I wish youtube was up and running back during Ann G's hayday. She was quietly quite awesome but I don't think most folks ever heard of her. I loved her then, now, and I still play her music today.

I've been looking for this video for 18 years! Came out once on BET and never saw it or heard from her again. This video's style is so nostalgic. Simple montages of the artist and some water would never make it in rotation these days. This video simplicity is its greatest strength.

You can find the CD on Ebay for pretty cheap. It's a short CD (only 8 songs), but a very good one!

@SugareeMoments - Not rare, just poorly promoted by Atlantic. I used one of the songs to sample from it. Found it for $.99 myself, but also didn't know it existed! Maybe dropping the "E" from her name had something to do with it. Not as good as her first album, but noteworthy.
