  • Lonely Island Saxman with Jack Black!

    6:58 Fucken play somethin' Saxman!

  • Question: can an Imperial Guard heavy weapon team move across the battle field or is it fixed? 2nd the codex says two models in a squad can be turned into a heavy weapon team, are they still part of the original squad or is it an entirely different unit. sorry for the noob question, page numbers would be helpful

  • @TriclipseStudio heavy weopon teams can move, but they are classed as heavy so if they move to there full potential (6inch) they cannot fire in the shooting phase, and for the second part of your question, you have a ten man squad, take two men out, place the HWT in the squad and they part of it. (you can do this for you hQ also)

  • @TriclipseStudio They can move, but after they finish moving they have to until next turn to fire

  • hello im currently a IG player and i was looking through some ebay posts to bluk my army up ( sounds cheap but can seriously get some good deals) and found a praetorian squad and the photos make them out to look like the old Anglo Zulu British soldier ( im very intrested in Anglo Zulu Conflict) and thought it would be cool to make an army of praetorians but every time i look for them on the Games work shop website they dont have them. So could anyone elighten me as to why they arenot on the site

  • @connorm172 Catachan and Cadian style Guardsmen are widely popular in the hobby nation, armies, such as the Tanith, Praetorians, Steel Legion, Valhallans, etc., are specials. Naturally, they are modded in form, only certain hobby places make them from scratch pieces. Naturally, also, they would be more expensive because they are rare in Games Workshop.

  • Hey I have a question, I researched online and I heard that the Tau are a boring, not very fun race to play. Is that true? I really looked forward to playing tau, but those websites made me change my mind.

  • @roguegoliath74 space marines are the most played race and are very fun to play...the imperial guard and ork are kinda the same that make u have a huge army tau is like in the middle and they are very fun to play because they have amazing range plus there robots look like transformers

  • @thecrazygun2 Thanks, I'm going to try out orks and Space marines in Assault on black reach to learn the game a bit, and if I'll start a tau army later

  • Sorry dude, but your outflanking tanks would not get cover from the models that were in 2" of area terrain. You only get cover saves on vehicles and monstrous creatures if 50% of the model is obscured from sight.

  • Sax Maaaaaaaaaan!

  • nicely painted ig army, grats

  • LOL I have the same guard army, 2 Dogs 3 basilisk's.

  • There's a girl in the same room with Warhammer figurines?! Impossible!

  • @fdfederation but a girl who's in the same room with warhammer figurines is badass...

  • @Ev1lSp1r1t0fD00m she stole your wallet LOL

  • @fdfederation overrated :P

  • @ntfh A girl who probably has more skills than all of us put together.

  • You should try using leman russ instead of hellhounds

  • That cover save rule at 4:40 wont work any more, its Line of Sight for 40k now.

  • Tau aren't shooty enough for a shooty army....they need BS4. Period.

  • @Spjungen AMEN!!!! Atleast the freakin suits need base bs of 4

  • @Spjungen Thats why they have markerlights. If they were BS4 Markerlights would be overpowered.

  • @Spjungen dude.. u crazy...... buy 2 pathfinder squads ... mark ....the target ok so lets say 2x 4 mans squads and 6/8 marks that mean you can shoot at him with 3 different squads and with a BS5 .... 2+ 2+ GL with the 4+

  • motörhead ?

  • wow i was wondering if it was jack black aswell weird....

  • SAX MAN!!!!!!!!

  • lol, communism didnt win the war is the best excuse ever :P

  • Where did your friend get that tape measurer?!

  • @Emidretrauqe wow this was a good while back... he made it custom.

  • @Emidretrauqe i mean painted it. Just a cheap measuring tape with a new paint job.

  • guard rule

  • ok i might get tau. but i had an idea. if i got a hammerhead. and i got the battleforce. and the hammerhead coems with 2 weapon choices. couldnt i put one of the guns ontop of the devil fish to make it a hammerhead? unless it only gives you one base to do that.

  • stop that fu cking music just noise

  • enjoy!

  • whats the song

  • the intro is: "Dead Men Tell No Tales"

Performed by D.O.A. a punk band from BC, Canada

Or is a song during the actual footage yer lookin for?

  • tau are pretty cool dude you cant really bag on them

  • Creed FTW

  • the best arms is the grey knights

  • OH! Now it makes sence they havent gotten a codex update since...what, 3rd Edition?

  • no tau are wossy and are not cool like grey knight who have so many alles

    XD

  • apart from the fact that whenever grey knights work alongside guard they always kill them if chaos' grip is too strong on th planet. then again when the Deamonhunters are called in theres no chance of a minor infestation.

  • tau are not wussy. they will fucking shoot your arse to death before you can even get close. and they are fucking cool! friggen high-tech! AWESOME! noob

  • If you want High Tech play Necrons, Eldar or Dark Eldar. All 3 are more advanced.

  • @Rincewindlolzor

    hahaha, Dark Eldar, sure... hahaha.

  • out of interest,as tau will have anyone in there army who is willing to join the greater good,in games can tau have any unit and just count them as meceneries

  • for fair play, no.

Thier are some auxillary rules out there somewhere if you have a very loose house rule policy.

  • i think that is that guardsmen keep their profile but with a higher save. to even the odds though they still have lasguns and all imperial units get +1 attack in close combat against them.

  • @nyhmrulez it depends where your playing.

and the axuliries are always weaker and not as used

i play where the Tau can use them, but only with the SM IG and Eldar

  • Do Fire Warrior and few battlesuits lists work well? Might start Tau soon...

  • i'm just asking, the tanks that u brought in that were in reserve, aren't they for Catachan troops????

  • Hellhound Squadron. Devil Dog and Banewolf Variants.

They can outflank because Creed can give Scouts to one unit in the army. I usually run Creed.

  • Creed is awesome like Yarrick and Marbo.

  • though people always say the tau are uncompetetive, for unexperienced players, a noob army, and a crap army in general, that is so much bull, i have never had an easy time playing tau with my loyalist or chaos marines, the only time i ever beat a tau army is with my ork army. that came as a shocker to me. the guys army was broadside and railgun ship heavy, and my orks are all infantry with force fielding meks, along with good old burna boyz and a shit load of boyz and grots. madness for the tau.

  • Have you got a Forge World Battle suit?

  • how much points did u use for this battle?

  • Right on, always nice to see Tau on YouTube... thx for sharing!

  • Oh, and that's a pretty sweet Tau tape measure too...

  • "I get a cover save from two of your shooters, because you're more than two inches into terrain."

    "... okay."

    :P

Do you guys just play that the burst cannon on the devilfish can swivel 360 or something? Those guardsmen would have been right out of sight in my games.

  • Again, I told him I got a cover save, really, only 2 of the Broadsides whould have been able to fire. 1 could not see me. In order to be nice I decided to throw a cover save rule (for one) at him rather than take one shot away.

As for the devil fish, in club games here we allow a 180degree arc on the front for the burst cannon and smart missile mounts on tau skimmers.

  • I don't really care about the cover saves, the delayed agreement was just funny ;)

We play by its physical rotation arc at our club, which gives me slightly less rotation on that side (damn useless optical whatever thing). But that also gives hammerhead burstcannons/smart missiles/gun drones 360 degrees TLOS.

Watched the other vid too. Good report.

  • Hellhounds have outflank? Btw i play guard and my main opponent is a tau player, any tips?

  • I had Creed in my list. He can grant Scouts special rule to one unit in the army. Scouts can take a scout move or outflank. So I gave scouts to the hellhound squadron.

  • SHOOBITY BOP DOOBITY BOP BOPP

  • In regards to the hellhound squadron getting one cover save, One of the shooters firing at it could not see it. I as being nice and allowing the 3rd shot. In the end it made no difference. The surviving hellhound rammed an immobile fish with no weapons. So both vehicles exploded. Nothing major came of it. SO the rules were not broken and things were still all done in good spirit.

  • awsome battle report

  • what the fuck is this shit?

  • LOL, came for paintball?

  • yeah

  • should have another paintball clip up after the 19th. The team is going to a tournamnet on July 18th and 19th.

  • gotta love the astropath!!!

  • nice
