@livepunx 6505 settings are in the picture at the beginning of the video. TS7 settings were our usual (drive: 9 o'clock, tone: 12 o'clock, level: 12 o'clock).
Hey guys..can u please do a demo on Randall RG75D G3 plus combo. I got the amp but I want u guys to show how to use it the best possible way. Cheers..
louisville????? really!!! kentucky wildcats son!!! great demo.. i love this amp i will never sell it... sounds fucking brutal. my settings are the same as yours..
@LimitlessStudios Without argue it was some great playing for shure, man that sounded so good... just had a little idea to make it even heavier thats all.!.! By the way do you by any chance have the tab/or a link to the tab cause it was some badass riff...
very kool .What drums is that? Is that steven slate drums? I recently got Steven slate drums just figguring out how it works. The drums you are using in this video are very nice which ones is that exactly?
@yatindimebag We're trying to get more amps for review, however, we can't afford to buy them, and so far Orange is the only company who has been willing to loan us amps free of charge. We'll try to do more Orange reviews in the future, and of course there will be a review of this 6505 in the future as well.
@Hallman88 Yep, Les Paul's look better without the pickguard in our opinion. Also, the pickups that come in the Epiphone Les Pauls, and even newer Gibson Les Paul Standards are pretty poor so they need to be swapped. EMG's happen to be our favorite. I only have one guitar that doesn't have EMG's in it, and that's my Fender Strat.
@LimitlessStudios Ha thats funny, i also only have one guitar that doesn't have EMG's in it. My Fender Tele John 5 project. Great minds must think alike. Got to also say i enjoy your guys videos, they are very helpful. I have to save up some more money to complete my studio setup but it is getting there.
@acompres No, the drums are Steven Slate. I can release the preset but there's so much processing going on inside the Pro Tools session it wouldn't be much use.
@evopsomopso We've tried to contact Bugera about loaning a 6262 for use to review, but they never returned our email's. However, you can buy a used 6505/5150 for the same price (sometimes cheaper) than a new Bugera, and from the sound clips we've heard the 6505/5150 always has sounded better to us.
@LimitlessStudios yhea thats right, i should have done that but i coudlnt get a decent used one around here so i took the bugera... i like it very much though and after a change of all the preamp tubes it sounded even better! but in the future im definitaley getting a peavey :) check my band if you like: facebook. com/intodepths
I have the 6505+ version head i want that tone please show me how to get that tone please and what would i need i already have protools le 8 and a sm57
@TheBoucherC There's nothing special that we do to get these tones. The gear we used is listed in the description, and the settings are in the pictures at the beginning of the video. Other than that it's just tightly played double tracks panned L and R, and a bit of mic position adjustment. We also surround the cab with homemade bass traps which eliminates room noise. The cab itself and speaker choice is a huge factor in the sound as well. We recommend a cab with V30's for metal.
@infectiousfiles Thanks! MIDI drums can actually sound extremely realistic if you manually humanize them by analyzing how a drummer hit's the drums while playing, and using that to adjust the velocities of the MIDI notes. We don't this for our videos because it's very time consuming to do.
@LimitlessStudios I know, they can sound decent if they are played by a real drummer in a good electronic kit or if you have the patience to do what you mentioned..
@OndskapensHersker Thanks! We're glad people seem to enjoy this video. We'll try to make amp demos of the amps we receive for review, however, we don't have access to a lot of amps, and can't afford to buy them. So far the only company that has been willing to loan us amps to review free of charge is Orange which we'll be doing more reviews for in the future. We're also planning to do a behind the scenes video for our future amp reviews so that'll probably include some of the mixing process.

You guys should do a video on the new emg hetset pickups. Those pickups would look a lot better on that guitar as well.
silverback006 3 months ago
Yeah if the guitars came up more and had more presence it would sound sweet. Mix is lacking low end but the clarity is great guys.
TriviumCrusader17 4 months ago
@TriviumCrusader17 I think he should set the mid control down to about 2,5 instead of 4 that would make it sound tighter and heavyier.
