It's a nice place...I have spent 5 days in Portaland: people are generally very nice and open, the cisy has nice buildings, great pubblic services, nice clubs and lot of music...it's very altrenative...it has something special..good vibes... I think it's a nice place to live in!
If you have a LIFE, it's not boring here. If you're bitter and boring, everywhere is a boring drag for you. Yes it gets up near 100 in the summer, but at least we never have that terrible east coast humidity that drains your energy and has you drenched in sweat after just a few minutes outside.

I visited Portland OR last summer and it got up to 99 F!
