Every ball hockey goalie i've ever seen wore full gear... and especially sidney crosby, all players in the nhl are under contract and most of them aren't allowed to play other sports outside of their hockey organization in case they get injured. if i was sid i would have worn full protection so i would have less of a chance of getting injured.
