Job for a cowboy has never said they're deathcore EVER actually, I think with this album they were trying to get that across to everyone. Genesis is technically and melodicly better Doom.

So it's a made up genre, but you claim that there are bands in that category? Maybe you need to rethink your logic. Deathcore is caracterized by a mix of death metal and metalcore; death metal for downtuned guitars and vocal style, and metalcore for breakdowns and other non-death metal riffs. Obviously you've never heard one song on Doom, because all of those things are fucking everywhere. Check everywhere, Doom's going to be labeled deathcore. That's why your comment was stupid.
