haha, its actually pretty damn easy compared to some Becker solos, Michael Romeo solos and Petrucci solos. Just practice the tabs and watch my video over and over until you get it down. Good luck

I first started learning 3 string arps with 4 fingers, actually... and I found that its more efficient and therefore, faster/cleaner if you use 3 fingers (index, middle, ring).

Nope. I never use my pick to tap... I always use my middle finger. I actually sweep this solo now and tap with my middle finger instead of using legato for the whole thing as seen above.

haha, sorry! Yeah, once you get 3 string sweeping down, you'll be able to descend the arpeggios without raking the pick over the strings (it sounds cleaner that way, anyway). Practice!

Yea, its really a 3- string sweep with a tap at the top of the 4 note arpeggio... but at the time, I didnt feel that was the cleanest way for me to play it, so I tapped it all (it sounded better). I sweep it now, however.. now that Ive gotten my 3-string sweep taps sounding more proficient.

Ive been playing for roughly 4 years now. I know that doesnt sound like much... but I practice for at least 4 hours a day, maybe more... (Ranging from 4 to 8 hours). Practice is key... ill tell ya that right now. Its VERY important. Its the only way youll get good.

Thanks for the compliment! It is a 3 string sweep, but my Les Paul doesnt bleed notes (not badly enough to hear them at least), so I find its easier to tap it all. I CAN sweep it, but I prefer tapping... easier and still gets the job done.
