To be honest though, i learnt calculus in france through highschool and university and i've never heard them call an integral : "somme", they call a sum "somme" and an integral is intégrale and antiderivative: primitive..

Weird because he does know what he's talking about. Maybe they used to call it that way a long time ago, but not anymore.

damn, you'd think that at MIT the professors would go at a much faster pace and talk as if assuming the students already know this shit, but this professor just oozes clarity at every step. My prof here at usc skips a lot and talks too fast lolz

@HappyBuddhazz99 I've learned this first hand; the only difference between going to let's say MIT, and a state university; is the name of where you got your degree. My cousin, who lectures at Stanford once every two weeks for a multi variable calculus class, has noticed that the class is using the same book as I am.
