misleading trailer for a lame RTS

unlike an RTS game, I would actually love to see a Battlefront style of game that was created for the Halo Universe where you could have huge fights among sandbox battlefields with numerous vehicles and being able to use different types of footsoldiers rather than a spartan every time

like I said.... a Battlefront meets Halo type of game :)

as a general rule, RTS games have amazing trailers, and mediocre graphics at best. They get their money to make the game, don't spend all of it on the game, then use it to make the trailer better. For instance, This trailer is amazing, But in my opinion, the game was godawful. Playable sure, but not nearly as amazing as it could have been.

@BigRedChester You seem to have a lot of questions. Let me explain. Harvest was a human colony planet, controlled by the UNSC, then the coveneant attacked. You know the carriers that have that beam coming out of the bottom? Thats called an excavation beam, originally used to excavate new and uncharted planets, but now destruction. The coveneant used the excavation beam to glass Harvest, leaving it's surface covered in ash and destroying it's atmosphere. So the marines wear masks on the planet.

Imho, Halo Wars was a terrible Halo game. That's because it's not really following the origin of Halo being an fps. The trailer and cutscenes are amazing, truly. Maybe if they happened to mention that it was an RTS earlier, more people would've liked it. I personally don't enjoy these kinds of games anymore. I used to LOVE Command and Conquer as a kid. I guess I've outgrown those and moved on to fps. Either way, Wars was a good game for what it was designed for, but not as a Halo game.

@BIONICDJx 1 had plasma melt it's armor to the point y could c it's spine. Another fell into space and 30 others set off the nuke on reach. As of another 40, they died in missions or lost a leg or 2 arms. Another 70 died in dr.halseys "improvement" therapy. It's in the book "Halo The Fall of Reach. Good book btw. Read it
