I had tears in my eyes listening to Vernon's story. I feel bad for him and people like him that have medical conditions and that are homeless. I also want to give my condolences to Vernon.

the authors of this documentary should recieve a humanitarian award. I feel these videos give people a first hand perspective of homeless people. When u walk down the street and someone has a cup out asking for money, initially, I would be angry and feel resentment towards homeless. I couldnt imagine that someone homeless was dreaming concerned about world corruption. Thanks for posting videos like this that help adjust our perspective to one that God can appreciate.

Maybee just maybe the decline of the U.S. isn't entirely about a recession, a mortagage scandall, muslim terrorist, christian conservatives, gay and lesbian couples, the war against terror, the war against illegal drugs, single parent families, a welfare state, or corproate and banking bailouts. I Feel very affectionate for the homeless but can someone please answer me... do they just go up to the homeless ask em stuff and then leave? if so then why.. i cryed for this man because he is poor and has a good heart but it treated like shit.... please help the homeless.... when i grow up im going to one day just walk around and give homeless people some food and a place to stay.... @VaderProject This is very sad. I agree that something should be done. The government should focus more of its resources on American problems than foreign problems but; I do no believe the government should be held entirely responsible for these people. Many of them are NOT good people and do NOT deserve the help. Though this man is an exception.

Many people who commit crimes do so as they have nothing and no help - if you look at the other videos some of the homeless have just come out of prison and have nothing and nobody. This is a human tragedy and EVERYONE deserves a chance

Vernon is one of the "walking wounded". There are so many Vernons; it is beyond me how people can be cruel towards those down on their luck. Thank you for all of your posts.
