CC has never got the Respect he deserves for his skill but he is ok with that. This guy is an Amazing guitar player. If you are a young guitar player, you should learn what you can from any guitar player specially one that is as successful as CC. Don't rush to say negative or ignorant things. Study your craft.

CC is an awesone gutarist! I have seen him live playing a guitar solo and this video does not do him justice! I have been a long time Poison fan and CC has always been great at what he does.

Im one of the biggest Poison/CC D. bashers on the planet and have been playing my Les Paul for about 22 years so u good players know why i'm a basher. However, the shit CC was churnin out at 3:40 was so full of soul and brilliance that im still cleaning the shit outta my pants. Wouldda been nice if he would have resolved with a little more soul but he made his point. There was definitely a few moments of brilliance. I didn't think he had it in him. Well done, C.C.
@ten8goa never thought muchof him until i saw them in'87. he was so much better live than on record. very entertaining. his guitar solo spot on the flesh & blood tour was great. similar to this. had a lot of fast stuff, harmonics, tapping, & blues licks. he ended with a very soulful melodic stretch that was very impressive. i recall the arena nearly going silent it was so musical. since, I've liked him.
@ten8goa Im not trying to be a troll but when you make a comment like "ive been playing my les paul for 22 years", it makes me think you're 12. I consider myself to be somewhat talented and owning a "les paul" for 22 years wouldnt make a lick of difference if i had been playing a $100 first act for 22 years. And incase you think i may have poor taste in guitar players look up Joe Bonamassa or Paul Gilbert. Those guys are "good".
@ten8goa its just blues improvising, anyone can do it. It just doesnt sound like mindless wanking because of the piano backing. its pretty ordinary and lame. and even when he is improvising he is still wanking off towards the end
VH1 Classic played a couple of clips from this tour and at the end of the solo, they go into "I hate every bone in your body...but mine" lol. But they didn't do that here.
