I love this song! And he sings it so well! I am not sure though that a young boy should be singing it. This song is sung by the character of an evil woman who is telling her daughter to go out and kill someone and bring back his soul to her or else she will be disowned. This kid, although he has a nice voice and can reach high notes, is not relaxing his throat. You can hear that he is getting tired. He may end up with polyps on his vocal chords if he keeps singing things that he is not ready for yet.  Just my opinion.

I'm worried that it could have affected how I sing now, seeing that sometimes I get hoarse or lose my voice more easily, even with correct techniques. Or am I doing something wrong? My friend told me my voice is high and I will never sing loooud, and that I strain myself.

You will end up destroying someone's vocal chords if you try to teach it to someone who has not already done many years of operatic training.
