If you ask me, Jauron was as good as FIRED after the 2007 MNF debacle against the Cowboys!

Jauron should never have been hired in Buffalo from Day ONE! At the same time, Mike Sherman, who was fired from Green Bay, was being considered.

Sherman has a .556 record all-time.

Sherman coached in 6 playoff games, winning 2.

Sherman owns Jauron, head-to-head, by 7-to-1. Even when the Bears went 13-3 in 2001... Green Bay SWEPT da Bears!

And Dickie couldn't win that ONE playoff game!

The biggest problem is that Ralph has no balls and will not fire Dick. If Ralph did fire Jauron Buffalo would have hired Shanahan and he would have lit a fire under the asses of the players. Shit can Turk Schonert and guarantee buffalo goes 10-6.

They see a need in the O-line, and GRAB it in Jason Peters! They see a need in the QB corps, and take a chance on Michael Vick! The Eagles aim to WIN, not to just plod by like the lame-ass Bills!

Looking to next year... I'd look to evaluate Crowell and see if we can sign him for a good deal if healthy, if not just for depth & potential. Greer too. Assuming we have 11th overall, I'd get a standout DE or tweener LB/DE with a great skill set. Next, I'd be looking at the Center position which has been the root of the O-Line problems. Bills mine as well had a ghost man play Center this year! Alex Mack comes to mind & he blocked for Lynch at Cal.  Also address TE, FS, FB, WR once again.

Horrid final game. Keep up the good work and the faith. Bills definitely need a new coaching staff. Everyone besides April can go. Get Jauron and the passive and conservative attitude out of there... team accepts losing with him and he seems lost especially in the red zone. Schonert has failed miserably. Also get Fewell and the useless Tampa 2 that doesn't cover anyone and is useless without constant D-Line & LB pressure out of there. Even without injuries, the philosophy hasn't worked.

Jauron doesn't motivate them to go out and play hard. He accepts failure, and like vicious said, the team reflects that. Edwards isn't calling his own plays out there, the coaching staff didn't give him the opportunity to throw down field. Jauron and his staff went conservative, when they really had nothing to lose in this game. Give some serious credit to the Pats who could not lose this game and played like they were the team that was 7-8. They took shots, and the Bills didn't.

Sure the Bills are a few players away but it's obvious its not just the players. Anyone that has watched the games & ever has been a part of winning football can see it's the playcalling and the indecision in crucial situations- that's poor coaching, lack of command, & poor discipline. The team has no killer instinct all season- that's an attitude that is portrayed by the head coach. Fans deserve a winner! This isn't a Ivy League country club where it's cool to a wuss because your smart.

The commentators in yesterdays game were praising Dick so badly and I was thinking just how pissed you probably were. I also heard the players are very happy with Dick as their coach which is no good. I'm happy and proud of my Pats but obv am upset we didnt make the playoffs. With an 11-5 record, with Cassell as our QB who came in as a backup this season and hadnt started since HS I cant expect much.

As far as I'm concerned, there are no positives you can find out of this season. It was meaningless, completely meaningless. Ralph Wilson has to be just as upset as we are with Dick Jauron, so I trust that he'll make the right decision and let him go, even if it means paying the guy some cash. No coach in NFL history has ever kept his job after three consecutive 7-9 seasons, and for a guy like Dick Jauron to be kept around would be a complete travesty.
