:30 that is not at all how you do "Look, listen, and feel" ->put your cheek very close to their mouth, eyes looking down their body. you should look to see if their chest is rising, and be able to hear their breath and feel it on your cheek.
:39 taking the pulse at the neck is like 100x preferred. However, red cross advises that if the person is unconscious, a layman should begin CPR pulse or no.
My dad died of cardiac arrest :"( I remember that night too much, CPR didn't work I wish he had gone to the ER the hour before when he fell in the bathroom, I told my dad and mom and brother to call 911 at that time but he refused and went to sleep for good :"( fucking cancer
hey granny... 9-1-1 is only three numbers.. whatchu pressin all the buttons for? I think she's the one in cardiac arrest. Nice to know she's got her nice cup-of-joe ready while she waits for the ambulance lmao.
i goto stop watching these symptom things, ive watched that many different things that i had a little case of heart burn earlier, i didnt know if to take a quick tablet or phone an ambulance, sometimes i think you can watch to much but watching some is good.
In England I was taught it is 30 chest compressions to 2 effective breaths in that continuous cycle. The sooner you get an AED or ALS support from paramedics/emt's the more chance the patient has. Generally if someone is in cardiac arrest, the chances of bringing them back are very low even in a clinical setting such as a hospital.
