Because Ho was not a Communist, he was a Nationalist who used the word Communism to gain support form Moscow. But again the flag of south Vietnam should not have the status of freedom flag.

The people of VN, both southerners and northerners, just want to go on with their lives. VN is developing, the people are better fed, clothed and educated than ever. If you don't like VN, fine, leave us alone. Stay in the US, mind your own business. I'm sure you have work to go to, morgages to pay, children to raise etc.
