  • alerta antifascista paok 4a singing and drinking

  • 2:13 is that a big muff?

  • @tf2cpu I can't tell.. has the build of it, i think it is. He does have one, so I wouldn't be surprised

  • hats off for the guy with the phillies shirt (@0:30)

    go phillies!

  • I still love old Against me! but... they DID sell out. Would a band that sings "Baby I'm an anarchist get several hundred grand for an album if they weren't sell out? Yea the music is still good, but the guys aren't who they used to be. The music is worse too- yet if any band came out with White Crosses as their debut they'd be called the next big thing.

  • @che11lives I didn't enjoy white crosses at all, but I mean, these guys paid their fucking dues AND have the support of many bands who haven't sold out. (NoFX for example). I don't think that it's fair to call them sell outs, its not like their playing extremely pop punk, sum 41 green day emo bullshit songs. Tom still has that passion in his voice. You don't like it cool, but I think your slightly stoopid for claiming they sold out. Just an opinion tho, and you have yours so...

  • @GuntherUnderneath I don't think it's stupid. They can have the support of whoever they want. I mean the whole sound of Against me! has changed too much. And really they're making millions and millions of dollars- and they live in fucking mansions and shit- this coming from the same guy who sang Baby I'm an Anarchist! They just changed with the bigger label and really become the thing they used to denigrate.

  • @che11lives they got several hundred grand for that album cuz WE THE FANS bought it. i think you have selling out confused with making it big, Just sayin.......

  • lol whats up with the dude with a tie and suit in the back stage haha

  • any form of communism, unless completely voluntary, requires some form of state (violence) so therefore communism is the exact opposite and enemy of anarchism...the two cannot coexist...the idea of anarchism is not without compassion, (you might volunteer or donate to worthy causes, which you might and most likely already do) but no one can force you to....true liberty, ownership of yourself... like the song very much

  • You'll find that Anarchists (they call themselves Libertarian Socialists) are communists (note the importance of the lower case "c"). Karl Marx envisioned Communism as a form of Anarchism but Bakunin believed that Communism didn't go far enough. Anarchists agree that any form of currency economy should be distributed evenly. Examples of this is communes in Spain and Zapatistas/Zabalazas. This is organised in democratic community meetings. So money goes straight to infrastructure not the people.

  • @che11lives Well, communists believe in a authoritarian transitional phase- and also, in an Anarchistic Society, money may or may not be used, depending on whether you have free communism, collectivism, or mutualism.

  • LOVE this song!!!!!!!

  • Libertarian Socialism, Anarcho-Communism, it all means the same stuff. (Liberal junk!)

  • this is real punk

  • i think hes sooo hot (tom gabel)

  • This "what is punk, and whats's not" is stupid. No one cares if you're a hardcore punk anarchist. Being an anarchist doesn't make you punk. Against Me makes good music, and I don't think they care what you so called "punks" think. Its music. If you like it, listen to it, if you don't......don't search the band on you tube.

  • @FreeTrainRide i agree but i think they are punks and i think they think as them self's as punk

as so anyone who says someone else is not punk is probably not punk them self"s cause they don't

know what punk is cause its any thing you want it to be.

  • @deadwolf1227 one more thing most punks sit around at home deciding what is and what is not punk while calling people who are doing stuff to make the world better through teaching, politics, or music not punk when they never said they were punk in the first place. i love punk though

  • Comment removed

  • just throwing this out there when someone (me) and all of their friends who are die hard fucking punks and anarchists can go to every show up until 2001 and love every song and after just stop going cause it's not the same music means they sold out bud.. they don't make the same music they used to it's not punk anymore not real punk it's more like good charlotte punk now which is to say pop punk therefore sell outs... I still listen to their older stuff but not much of their newer

  • I can't believe I missed a chance to see Against Me! live, just because I had to be at my fucking high school graduation.

  • oida , der Drummer geid so geil ab

  • they have heart.that cant be taken away from this band

  • saw them live at the weenie roast 2 years ago with chevelle and stone temple piolts and sublime one of my favorite concerts ever ill never forget it <3

  • @JoshuahCardenas sublime didn't get back together 2 years ago, they got back together recently (kind of) with Rome as the new singer, but before then they have been apart since Brad died in 96' bro

  • @freestyleandsmile ya i know i saw them live with Rome last year he dosent sound that bad compared to bradly there supposed to be putting out a new album out with him either this year or next not sure which im not to cool with but theres nothing u can do about it so its whatever

  • @lol97d Actually it is, it's Libertarian Socialism.

  • @QSdanny actually Libertarian Socialism and Anarcho-Communism differ slightly, just as Libertarians and Anarchists or Communists and Socialst differ. but I do agree with you, and Che did alot of good work world-wide in the overthrowing of many oppressive governments, not many of them really stuck, but at least he tried, and he spread the good word of Communism. and he saw the struggle the indigenous workers were facing even though he himself came from a privileged European background

  • @VeganRanger True, I agree, I was just replying to the statement above by commenting that Socialism is an important part of Anarchism, if we don't take them together we'd be left with free-market capitalism, or Stalinesque ''communism''.

  • The band looks like they're having such a great time performing!! ^_^

  • Now this is a fucking crowd....holy shit

  • Selling out is going completely against the values you stood for. With all the shit against me! talked, they absolutely qualify, but it doesn't change he feelings they provoked, the ideas they had and spread, nor does it disqualify anything we felt because of their music. I personally hope that maybe their older work can still be a gateway to alternate ideology than what most of the mainstream, corporate raped culture demands.

  • Fuck all of you calling them sellouts. I just went to a live show 2 nights ago. 10:30 at night in DC. the venue can probably fit 100+ people max. 60 punk kids squished in the front, beating the shit out of each other, while tom and the band smiled and rocked their asses off. they rocked the new and the old. and they had fun doing it

  • @squashbucket70 Exactly these mother fuckers have no clue what they're talking about. Notice once they released Russian Spies/Occult Enemies on their own label everyone starts drooling over the lyrical and musical content? Fucking turncoats. They're still the same people, they still want the same things. The music got lighter and went to a major label, but fuck it man, it's still good shit. May Tom and AM! continue to bring us kick ass tunes!

  • Please stop replying to me, I don't care what you think

  • People who say they are sell outs are full of shit. Go see a live Against Me! show and tell me they are sell outs... I've seen em' twice and they put on the best punk show I'v ever seen.

  • Personally, i go with the idea that, while there are some "sell-outs", and some labels that give their mandatory input that they feel will make it more widely accepted. Hell Trent Rezner got quite a bit of that from Interscope, and once his contract was up, he made his own label. Other times, all the wonderful music that was written was created in times of unhappiness, and as things pick up, they become happy.

even for Shakespeare; Without misery, there is no genius.

  • i think tom gabel's face looks just a tad like matt skiba :p

  • @ChadHardbodies Ya know now that ya mention it, totally right. Tom is sexier though. :P

  • Sell out or nots, this is still a fucking brillant song, and to me, they are still a fucking brillant band, whom will always have a place in my heart. Haters can hate yo, labeling them as sell outs wont stop me from enjoying it.

  • i miss warren

  • i saw them live:) sooo good, these mentally challenged people need to stop calling them sell outs, go bother the 12 year old girls licking j-beebs butthole. and stop trying to debate things on a youtube video thats when you know you have a life.

  • Thumbs up for Warren Oakes! And his head . . .

  • youtube.com/watch?v=iLElq1cIfK0

  • Durriti>Guevara

    Subcomandante Marcos>Guevara

  • youtube.com/watch?v=UajVkzw1res

  • Thought I came up with an awesome song title. Decided to check if someone had already used it...they have...I'm sad now...Good song though.

  • @AddEmergency Props for thinking of that though! I was texting my friend the other day and said "raditude" (to have a rad attitude). But weezer took it before me :'[

  • Che Guevara's image is synonymous with revolution. U cant talk about revolution without talking of him whether u agree with his actions or not.

  • seen them twice before and it was awesome. they finally come to where i live as a headliner in February, and i can't fucking go. SO PISSED. one of the best bands live i've ever seen

  • Selling out is making music that someone tells you to make in order to get paid. Against Me! haven't done that, but all the super-scenester-underground kids don't want people to know that they like the same band other people do so they try to discredit the music by labeling them as "sell-outs" or "phonies" without ever mentioning the fact that they came to this page specifically out of the trillions of pages on the internet, because they wanted to hear a good song. There are no coincidences.

  • @amradiation Or their new music is nothing like their old Tone, that dirty grit, in which you felt you were a part of something, aye?

  • @amradiation the word "phonies" reminds me of catcher in the rye lol. sorry if you think im weird

  • @amradiation It is a pretty outstanding coincidence that their music quality started nosediving when they signed with Sony...

  • @amradiation Well I think there sell-out was pretty clear. One minute they're saying "You have faith in the elephant and jackass" and bashing liberals, the next moment they're saying vote for Obama. But no they didn't sell out...

  • @amradiation haha to say against me hasnt changed 100% only because theyve got the sattention they once did deserve is like saying they havent gone through three drummers in 2 years. its obvious why. theyve lost there soul and only play for the all mighty dollar. i have the tat on my arm and i hae to say it but i cant put in a new album and get any! feeling of conection its really sad but thats how the cookie crumbles. theyre just another exemple of the fall out.

  • @amradiation they've already said themselves they sold out because they got tired of being a young folk punk band and want to be recognizable rock band... mission accomplished, but not being a "super-scenester-underground kid," I'm actually in my mid-20's and wear normal pants, I think their new sound is boring, cliché, predictable, and unoriginal. I don't need to call them a sellout band to think that they've gone south, they just haven't released an album worth two shits in like 6 years...

  • @amradiation yo whatever, they sold out.

  • @amradiation Just cause militant punk kids label them as sell outs now doesnt mean that they dont still like their older songs. I still dont think that they sold out when they joined fat wreck because back then they didnt need Butch Vig the motherfucking music nazi to tell them what to sound like. Thats some fake shit that comes with signing onto a major label. They hire producers and tell them, make these kids sound as profitable as possible...

  • @amradiation theyre even using Butch's name as a marketing point. Those are all the decisions of the record company but if the band had stuck to their roots and the ethics they were founded on, they wouldnt let suits warp their music into whatever "edgy" marketing scheme theyre planning on for profit. I love against me, but fuck that noise

  • @amradiation Thank you!

  • @amradiation I've never met a scene kid, they're proud of they're music in definatly like changes. Stereotyping ftw bro!

  • blah blah blah fucking sellfout ladeeda. I fucking hate california i wish all you motherfuckers would die!!!! hahahahah i love against meeeeee

  • if u have not seen em live. you have not seen em!!!

  • When Green Day went from writing punk rock songs to writing prom songs for teenage girls, that was a sellout. "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" was the point of no return. As Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home" is the quintessential fake metal ballad, "Time of Your Life" is the quintessential fake punk ballad.

Green Day = 13 years of sellout and counting ....

  • I dare anyone to wear a Che Guevara shirt in Little Havana.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=ldlKh7t5dys

  • RIP against me

  • @texaswhatitdo Theyre not dead

  • By the way, as far as Green Day is concerned, their sound remained somewhat consistent until Insomniac. The major difference between Dookie and 39 Smooth is better song writing and better production. Green Day were destined to be popular.

They paid their dues and became famous selling punk inspired rock music with strong pop sensibilities. They are the Nirvana for everyone who thought Nirvana were too dark and loud. Whether you like it or not, it is just good music.

New Green Day is gay. Yes!

  • @asininegenius dude, i dunno how u got talking about green day, but all of their music rocks

  • @NHLuongo Look below at the comments about sellouts.

  • Just listen to the music that you connect with, you bunch of scene kids. Genre and sellout arguments are pointless.

Did Against Me! change their sound to try to target a larger audience? Absolutely. Do I think the new sound sucks? You bet your ass I do. Do I care? Not at all. Who are you people who think your musical preference somehow defines you as a person? A bunch of wannabes?

  • God I miss Warren!!

  • The dude in the back with a suit and tie looks a little outta place!

  • I swear, Andrew is so fucking cool. I've never seen anyone in music so dedicated to their audience.

  • fuck che. fuck commies, fuck socialists, oh

and fuck all you college "liberals" too. Eat shit.

  • @andrewniwdog I'd like to see the though process on which backs this up? I'd like to have an intelligent conversation about this. Bring it on.

  • @BennyTheWhale okay i may have come off as some unedcuated fuck right there. let me give you my basic reasoning, as i will delve deeper into it later. Basically i view communism as a beautiful idea that doesn't work. The fact of the matter is there will always be someone out there to ruin it. Socialism, also a good idea simply will not work in the U.S. (granted it works in other countries, the U.S. would never be able to support a non-capitalistic government as the whole world relies on us.)

  • @BennyTheWhale And by us i mean our market and economy. Chè, regardless of his political message/views/ was a hypocritical mass murderer that destroyed people's lives and went on to brag about it, leave it to some idealistic fuck with his head buried in a book 24/7 to figure out a way to glamorize a villain. And my comment on college liberals was to due to the fact i live in a college town filled with ignorant "educated" peoples that dont look at the bigger picture and are too idealistic.

  • @andrewniwdog All the innocent murder accusations about CHe have literaly no evidence as some fascist, capitalist or conservative (distinctions between the three are very blured) saying he did doesn't count as evidence.

  • @andrewniwdog Dude im in college..... im not a fucking "Liberal" lol but I get where your coming from I see right through the Liberalism in my College its def there

  • @IrishFOCK1234 cool glad we cleared this up sorry if i came off as an assrammer because i am.

  • @andrewniwdog fuckshitcock

  • Is that Bill Paxton at 1:26?

  • Comment removed

  • @noahfexer Yeah, he's an apparent big fan of the band. In an interview AM! said that he throws up devil horns at their shows. This just confirms that Paxton is a complete tryhard dick at everything he does.

  • Comment removed

  • These guys are one of the few bands that are better live.

  • i liked them better when they were more how do i put this, "underground" for lack of a better word.

  • i was a teenage anarchist is exactly how you'll feel when you grow up

  • @SubPopAgain true that

  • rip

  • i agree. you guys have to have way more fun playing this stuff

  • "they're sell outs..blah,blah,blah"

stop whining already. if you don't like the new stuff, dont listen to it. Its pretty fucking simple. I didnt like the new album that much but it is good album. I'm waiting to see them (someday) here in Brazil.

  • @arthvaz If you went to a concert and there were only 2 members left, only playing songs from their last two albums. You would feel a bit disrespected as a fan. Yes, they sold out, and that's why half the band has left.

  • @arthvaz well...it's a little bit crappy, when they are not loyal anymore to their old cool status

  • @LosFraggles I know, but people change. I'm not the same I was 6 years ago. They've changed too. It happens.

  • @arthvaz just wondering, why some people don't recognize this changing

  • idk wats goin on... do these guyss support Guevara and still claim anarchism?

  • @Alpha10101111 Apparently you do not pick up on wit or irony.

  • @MakeHate i seriously dnt girls get pisd at me for it alot :). but for real can u answer my question? cuz i dnt get this at all

  • @Alpha10101111 Cliche Guevara is a play on the name Che Guevara. You can find Che Guevara shirts in every hot topic and on angry "rebellious" kids everywhere.

  • @MakeHate ya i kno who che guevara was, he was racist tm mexcicans nd blacks nd wasa communist. so punk music supporting him doesnt make sense. thats y im confused. r they saying fuck guevara? idk wat they r sayin

  • @Alpha10101111 The song itself doesnt have anything to do with Che specifically. The title of the song is implying that the imagrey of Che Guarvera as a revolutionist is "cliCHE" Thus, Cliche Guavera.

  • @MakeHate whats wrong with being an angry rebellious kid?

  • @MikeSkiera Nothing, as long as you are informed enough to know why you are angry and rebellious, and not just doing it as a fashion statement. Most kids wearing Che Guevara shirts dont know a damn thing about him, other than he was considered to be a "rebel leader". Even though its not the most "reliable" of sources, read: cracked.com/article_18606_8-historic-symbols-that-mean-opposite-what-you-think.html for an entertaining yet informative bit of writing.

  • @MakeHate Overthrowing Batista was a just cause IMO. Fidel was the evil one.

  • @MikeSkiera: Guevera carried out thousands of extra-judicial executions of peasants and priests after the revolution (and bragged about doing it). Ideologues build utopias on human bones.

  • @brutuscassius1 I know right! The communists didn't kill all the priests. too bad.

  • @MakeHate I actually owned a Che shirt back when I was a teenager. Bought it in the Bahamas lol

  • i love how controversial this band is hahaha

  • Against Me! aren't sold out, they just started writing shitty songs. but they have 2 awesome records behind them (Reinventing Axl Rose and As the Eternal Cowboy), which is more than most bands, especially punk bands, can say for themselves. i'd still love to see them live, and they seem like great guys. sometimes it's hard to believe just how hardheaded, immature, and closed minded the punk scene really is.

  • new albums,old albums-fuck this,AGAINST ME ARE FUCKING AWESOME!and always will be.

  • I miss Warren Oakes.

  • i love everything this band does, but as the eternal cowboy is the record that keeps me happy

  • I miss the old them.....): they suck balls now

  • i would cut off my left arm to be there

  • Comment removed

  • Go Warren!

  • It's a good thing he yelled "1 2 3 4!" Otherwise, the other band members would never have known what time they were playing in. Just kidding! It was clicheed posing!

  • see them live in august.... i get a boner when i think about it....awesome

  • I dont hate "new" AM or consider them selling out, I just prefer their older, more "raw" sound. The newer stuff is more polished and produced, and Toms voice is more along the lines of actual singing without the edge he has in songs like this.

  • rember when you played in the basement at my friends house in New York?...

  • This guy voting for Obama is fucking lame, what a retard to support one face of the two-headed monster over the other... Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic. If you're an anarchist, have the guts to vote for NOBODY. Fiat Currency Puppet #1 or Fiat Currency Puppet #2? Make a decision! (But if you do, you're an idiot!)

  • Ingenious title! I hate how young students all about Che Guevara when they really know nothing about him.

  • @PGTRegard agreed, i find it funny they say there all about him, but they buy these t shirts/merch that has his face on it and make che nothing more then some fade or for most people a t shirt, and profit big corporations who force children to make these shirts, every thing che was against, =(

  • @PGTRegard interestingly enough, about 80% of their fans fit that stereotype.

  • @PGTRegard dude was a fkn murderer....

  • @cfhdude He may not have been the best, but he was a people's revolutionist. The conservative media simply demonizes him (what else is new).

  • @Zimx02 aint bout mediA...dont even watch ur media...im from other country....but fact is he was a murderer lol...you know...i mean..its not really all black n white when it comes to peoples lives....its not just means to an end...for instance also...like the chilean ex-dictator pinochet...he saved the country from becoming a shithole and is now pretty much an european country in shitty ass south america, BUT, he killed a buncha of inocents in the process....well...salud anyway....happy holidays

  • @cfhdude We are all aware of that he did that. It is no secret. Nobody claimed that the man was perfect, and the fact that he killed innocents does not distract much from his accolades. Che Guevara is an icon because of what he represented and believed in. What you're doing is like trying to demonize Thomas Jefferson because of his hidden affair with a slave. Nobody thinks it's right, but it's besides the point.

  • @Zimx02 What exactly makes you think that loving a woman is comparable to murdering innocents?

  • @jaztitch You seem to have missed the point. Please don't talk to me if you think that straw men and red herrings are valid forms of argumentation.

  • @cfhdude I know. Which is why it makes me laugh.

  • @PGTRegard Lol you retarded bro?

  • @PGTRegard Who cares if they dont know him, he is a symbol of revolution. Just like jimi hendrix, just like Sid Vicious. While we dont all know who he is and what he did we all know what he stood for.

  • @MrSuperawsomeness I sort of see what your saying but Sid Vicious and Jimi Hendrix are weak compared to Che Guevara (not to mention they are musical figures not revolutionary figures).

Besides I'm not a communist so I'm not a big fan of Che.

  • Cuadrilla de pringados !

  • i saw green day can go fuck itself in the eye with a large sandpaper condom......

BC THEY SUCK!!! just listen to the damn music and enjoy it, i dont care if it costs $10....

    i agree with AgainstMe89

  • Everyone goes on and on about "selling out".. who gives a shit, if you like it, listen to it, if not, then dont listen to it..

stop filling up every song's comments with "have they sold out or not" bullshit

  • Thrash Unreal could be considered a sellout song, but no way Against Me! is a sellout band. I saw them in December at the Troubadour in L.A. for $10. Everyone needs to see this band right now. If the only way to accomplish that is for them to play stadiums, so be it. You want to know what a sellout looks like? Green Day.

  • Hmmm, Sell out or not.. The new face of their music is shit- (IMO) Atleast it's no where near considered "underground" like Reinventing.. etc..

They played in EDM, AB,Canada at our Hockey Arena and played ONE song from Reinventing axel Rose / Cavalier. All the rest were New wave and searching..

  • Dorokhin157,

Hmmm, curious. Like I said, I saw them three months ago, and they played at least "Pints of Guinness ...," "We Laugh at Danger ...," "Those Anarcho Punks ...," "Reinventing Axl Rose," "T.S.R.," "Cliche Guevara," "Sink, Florida, Sink," "Slurring the Rhythms," and "Rice and Bread" off the first two albums. The only song I was really hoping ot hear that they didn't play was "Baby I'm An Anarchist." All in all a fantastic show and the early albums were very well represented.

  • @shogun96 Until you listen to Against Me!'s new album....

  • Riot55, apparently the new album has leaked already. They played the title track when I saw them in December. The song is overtly political and not what I'd call poppy. New Wave was not my favorite--although "White People for Peace" is awesome--but I'm willing to give them at least one more chance. Against Me! is still in my current top 10 bands. They and The Thermals are really the only two punk bands worth listening to right now, that I know of.

  • @shogun96 Yeah it leaked last week or so. I listened to everything and it is honestly pretty terrible. WAY overproduced, squeaky clean, devoid of passion and energy. It sounds like stuff Tom would have made fun of when he was still making good music.

  • I really don't get the whole Green Day sold out thing. Dookie was one of the greatest "pop-punk" albums ever made and easily multiplied its fan base on its own. They're not 20 year olds making the same music they were in '94.

At least they're using their status to promote social change and help others benefit. ie: Live 8, Instant Karma, Hurricane Katrina relief.

If you're gonna play the sellout game at least attach it to a band whose existence lacks any purpose other than their own benefit.

  • @shogun96 AFI has to be one of the most dramatic sellout bands

  • @shogun96 as much as I agree with you Green day just didnt sell out. Changing doesnt make you a sell out changing because your told to does.

  • @shogun96 why this ?

  • Comment removed

  • @bobgarbage Well said. But I will say this. I like them less now not because their fan base has grown but rather because their last record just wasn't very good. I still love their previous work and I'll still see them live any chance I get.

  • @bobgarbage Thank you! God popularity does not instantly mean sell out or change in beliefs. Changing how you sound doesn't mean you have any less of a message and people who say otherwise are WAY too concerned with just being cool yuppie indy kids. That's not what music's about, it's about expressing yourself and what you believe in and if a large audience happens to like it then that's fine. Against Me! I'm afraid has sold out, listen to I was a Teenage Anarchist to see why.

  • @bobgarbage i dont think its so much the fact that they are popular now as it is the music has suffered tremendously... they dont write songs like cliche guevara anymore.. its pretty generic rock these days.

  • @nobrassvb i think this album in general was their turning point for generic rock. this album was AMAZING, but the general rock feel was more there. after that though, lyrically it started getting more bland and the instruments were all cleaner sounding. they still put on badass live shows, though!

  • @bobgarbage I dont dislike them now because they aren't a secret anymore. I dislike them because their knew music isn't good anymore. Did you ever think of that possibility?

  • I'm not a fan of their new album, but whatever. it's not my business what they do. Just seems people have too much interest in discussing shit they hate and barely understand rather than what they love and know for sure. The dudes have to make money some how and playing basement shows for 20 people a night isn't going to do that. Call it what you will.

  • @bobgarbage they have sold out a bit. the music their making has a more commercial appeal, but they are still writing good songs, and continue to push the boundries of punk-rock

  • @bobgarbage Damn. That 1St paragraph is amazing "it's not their little secret anymore" I spit beer through my nose. These guys are awesome, not just musicians but people.

  • @bobgarbage too true. you can't deny their sound hasn't changed though. still good, just different. i think the main difference is the band have grown up, whilst their original audience are still the naive pretentious pricks that, as you said, are living through the band.

  • @bobgarbage ha! idiotic sweeping generalization. i shared AM! with as many people as i could over the years...only to be embarrassed when White Crosses came out. have you listened to it? it's so upsetting.

i'm tired of hearing the same old shit over and over again: "they're just more mature," "their sound changed get over it," "you're just mad because they are big now"

NO, idiots. you can hear this band lost all passion for what they were doing...that's what people are upset about. fuck.

  • @bobgarbage Hah, ikr? They played in a small club/bar here, had a great punk feeling to it. I loved that show, whoever says Against Me! sold out are fucking idiots.

  • @bobgarbage That's not the reason I'm sad about this band. It's just the fact that they were so hardcore back in the day. And they meant so much more. They were about the music and the fans. But now it just seems like they are doing it for money. They turned poppy in a way. And I just hate it for them. I love the albums Reinventing Axl Rose and Eternal Cowboy. but this New Wave shit is just too much for me. I miss the scene they used to give.

  • No the reason people are butt hurt about it is because Tom Gabel denounced what he use to sing about.

  • and they also got rid off warren oaks.

  • @bobgarbage

It's not their profits that piss me off so much as how they got there. Fucking over everyone who made you a success = not cool. Especially since they know they can never show their faces here in Naples ever again.

  • @bobgarbage yar exactly, seeing them in couple of weeks, 20 bucks a ticket :D
