@nubatron3000 Then you need to take the AV cord, and on the side that plugs into the xbox, take off the black plastic with an Exacto knife.. This will expose the metal part and make it possible to plug it in along with the HDMI cable. Then buy a converter with two female ends- red and white- that converts into an AUX jack. Plug the xbox cord ends into the corresponding female end and plug the jack into your subwoofer or whatever your jack plugs into with your speaker. Hope this helped.

be careful when buying generic cables for your xbox 360 off of ebay. I purchased a generic VGA HD cable and the video quality was horrendous. I sent it back and payed the extra $20 and got the Microsoft official one instead. No problems at all and it includes the RCA to 3.5mm adapter at no extra cost.

All I did was plug the vga hd cable into my computer and xbox then I plugged my turtle beach x11 3.5mm to RCA Stereo Splitter Cable into the red and white rca plugs and plugged the speakers into it. that's how i made mine work.

@fingszosz17 Check the options in Menu, if you don't see any options that are labeled "source" or "input" or "change input/source", then you're probably out of luck, cause it means your monitor doesn't support multiple sources. What you can do is unplug your computer, and instead plug in your Xbox 360, so that the 360 becomes the main source.

As far as I know, most keyboards connected don't work, the ones that do, can only be used to type messages and not for gaming. @wipEnN For the setup, the headsets have to have 3.5 mm jack connectors. If it is USB, make sure it supports Xbox360, and if it does, you can disregard the sound setup part, and plug straight into one the Xbox 360's many USB ports and it should work.

@DvPP123 After watching your video I realized I misunderstood your question, I thought that you meant that with only the speakers plugged in your computer, they would somehow, through a complicated process, get audio through your VGA connector which is connected to your monitor, which is in turn connected to your PC which I know is not possible LOL but I totally misunderstood. After some testing of that method you showed, I realized it could quite potentially work, but maybe not on a newer OS.
