I hope you've bought a new cube since you made this, that one's kind of falling apart. I've replaced my stickers, but that's all, and my cube's been through a lot. (For example: I was mixing and the blue center plate popped off into the street during high traffic in downtown Budapest. I thought it was gone forever. I found it a WEEK later on the sidewalk on the other side of the road, popped it back in, and continued solving.)

that is the petrus method that makes the 2x2x2 block and then expands into a 2x2x3 block. There is another block building method that makes a 1x2x3 block but that is called Roux (not sure if that's spelled correctly)and is completely different.

well technically you can chroma key any color so i guess if you got a vivid enough color that isnt a cube color it could work? :-P

i dunno.. maybe if you put some higher end compositing to work, but I think a typical consumer-level or NLE key-er would struggle with it. Best way would be just to use normal blue or green and then bring the keyed out stickers back in with some roto work....but now im rabling so i'll shut up haha...
