If you like this you should check out Glen Hansard & The Frames. Not all quite as mellow but Glen's voice is amazing & they always kick arse live! There's not alot on Youtube but Irishmusiccentral have uploaded some good stuff. Fitzcarraldo, Star star and esp. Hey Day - written by his best friend Mic Christopher who passed away in 2001. Glen and Mic did a great version of Elvis Suspicious Minds on Grafton St. Dublin. Glen & The Frames are amazing and deserve more recognition! Enjoy! :-))

I'm so excited to finally get the opportunity to see them live later this month! Their music is beautiful. Can't tell you how many times I went to the library to pick out a movie & I would always bypass the movie "Once". Nearly a year later, I finally just got it. Swell Season is the best music I ve heard in years. One of my students told me that I reminded them of this guy Glen Hanser (They didn't know )
