  • Have people forgotten that Angle is an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling (which he won with a broken neck)? Not to mention one of the most highly regarded college wrestlers of all time? Pudder's little mma experience doesn't trump what kurt's capable of. If Kurt knew it was going to be a shoot, Pudder would have had no chance

  • You Faggots whining,Angle got his arm snapped. Oh but if your all so cool then grt in the ring yourselves.

  • Angle looked like he was fucking pissed

  • btw if I was angle I would of kicked his ass right there on national televison

  • how the hell did this jackass win that years tough enough over the miz. Funny thing is he had only 2 pay-per-view matches before being released whereas the miz has won money in the bank, the wwe championship and main evented wrestlemania. makes me wonder what idiot chose puder as the winner of tough enough that year

  • @purplepurple1405 makes me wonder if mcmahon als alzheimer when i read what miz won and did already .. i would test tough enough somewhere in brazil or poerto rico where some "miz" predetermened beats the local hero. if he survives the riot and the way out and finds his way to the hotel and survives the trip and the night then i could consider him a player lol

  • lol do you people know what a REAL shoot looks like? Puder didn't shoot for shit he was just banging heads with angle but then angle was trying to be a tough guy and almost lost his arm for acting hard, refs saved his ass.

  • I wonder if that confrontation at the end wasn't a scripted one... I could see Angle being legitimately pissed.

  • When both men stood up kurt made puder look like a bitch! If i was kurt angle i would have gotten a cheap shot on his ass this is entertainment. Fuck puder

  • Angle had it coming..... Broke the previous contestants ribs, and used a neck crank, and then got a power trip. Well, Angle, that's what you get. Bit off more than he could chew.

  • it wasnt a botch it was what happened when puder didnt understand this isnt mma its scripted. Also its what happens when a fighter from MMA no matter how unsucessful he was takes on just a show wrestler. I mean i know angle is a great wrestler but mma and just wrestling a worlds apart.

  • @adamthelastsportshow i understand what you are saying but Kurt Angle was named the best shoot wrestler of all time by USA Wrestling. So even knowing that wrestling is SCRIPTED, not Fake....KURT ANGLE is MORE LEGIT than Puder anyday of the week.

  • this is probably one of the reasons that wwe didn't hire Puder...he forgot something, if he wanted to shoot just go to UFC & get his ass kicked

  • Puder is a fucking idiot. Pure and simple. Not just for this but for his comments which make him look like an entitled douchebag who thinks everything should be handed to him. Fuck Puder.

  • Angle fucked up the dude before this. Broke his ribs and everything. I think Puder was looking to get a little revenge. IDK why but back then in Tough Enough they got the shit beat outta them. Angle was lucky it wasn't Bryan Danielson in there or he would not be leaving the ring on his own.

  • watching an interview with Kurt about this incident, he said out of concern for safety, he could've escaped at the 48 second mark and dropped Puter on his head, but he went to his knees nice and easy so Puder kept cranking and got pinned, if it was an actual fight he would've completed the throw....

  • The guy tried to take advantage of Kurt. Not a good way to break into wrestling.

  • the wwe is so shit:L

  • This video is hilarious. The reaction of Angle after they stood up was priceless. He knew the kimura was cranking his shoulder out of place. It was only a matter of time before he had to make a decision. The referees saved him and his reputation.

  • LOL Puder was never in UFC.

  • For him to pull this very unprofessional act in the WWE is disgusting. Its pro wrestling, you never expect a shoot but always defend urself like shown. And you can tell kurts shocked hes shooting, but not worried. Daniel barely held his own shooting out of nowhere against kurt, was on his back within 20 secs. He had an ok kimora going, but lets be honest, locking in that already sneaky move being sneaky urself on an unsuspecting opponent, and still not having it 100% locked in? exactly my point

  • @superbuu122 Wait a second there. If this was MMA tough enough thing and he actually got his chance i bet you it probably would have executed the move 100%. Angle is actually because the fact that if the ref did not see it or even not fully executed could and would have snapped Angle's arm. I give Puder credit for putting it on someone like Angle who is well known and tough as nails.

  • NONE OF YOU ARE TOUGH ENOUGH

    *Puder starts walking*

    Woah calm down dude

  • Cont...

    3. Really? you have taken a survey of everyone here and made that determination? Bwahahaha FAIL. You fucking IDIOT. Nice try but no dice. Stop posing as some intelligent person and fuck off. Feel free to censor and ban me to further prove how WEAK you are. I shall consider it a victory. ; )

  • Hahahhaha typical for you to post then your post is nowhere to be found so I can't respond. Coward.

  • yet, I shall call you up on it and paste your reply so I can respond. ; )

  • It was an unscripted segment and Kurt laid out the challenge. Puder had him in a nasty Kimura submission. It was very smart by Angle and the referee to count him down, even if his shoulders weren't fully down.

  • not so easy when it's real, is it Angle...

  • Kurt is a bully

  • kurt brke another tuf guy his ribs so puder tried to revenge idiots

  • Obviously the kid can fight.

He also obviously doesn't understand that WWE isn't real and that you don't do stupid shit like putting the highest paid wrestler in the world in a move that could break his arm.

  • People saying that angle got owned obviously need to fall on spikes becuz puder was suppose to lay down for the segment instead he put kurt in a hold without him knowing now honestly do u really think kurt would have gave into the hold so easily by the way where is puder now..................oo ok thats what i thought

  • if angle knew it was a shoot, then i doubt that would have happened.

  • Angle was simply working and wasn't expecting Puder to shoot. Puder really did nothing more than take a cheap shot knowing that Angle wasn't expecting a real fight. He deserves zero credit for this.

  • @bustermk2 Uh, no. Right before this Kurt took another one of the Tough Enough kids down and broke his ribs, then tapped him out with a neck crank. Angle was cool with shooting on someone else but then bitched when it happened to him.

  • @GaeasBlessing It's called respect and Puder has none.

  • @bustermk2 I'm not to sure about that, Angle took out the other tough enough contestant by shooting. I'm not trying to say Daniel is better or not; I just feel like some Kurt Angle fans don't want to give this kid his credit for not backing down to this walking ego (not saying he doesn't deserve to have one).

  • u simple cant outwrestle kurt angle

  • @lassessommer You can, seeing as Puder placed him in the Kimura. If the referee hadn't given the quick 3 count, Angle may have tapped.

  • @krillindestructo Or needed shoulder surgery, if he didn't break the hold. He should've cranked him.

  • Oh fuck i wouldnt want to fuck with kurt angle, at that time he was a pretty badass mother fucker.

  • damn, he got a kimura when angle had his back, Sakuraba style

  • As if some nobody kid could take out Kurt Angle.

  • He's NEVER been in the UFC!

  • I don't care what anyone says, in this segment Kurt Angle got pretty much owned until the ref bailed him out with a quick three count.

  • You guys talk like Kurt cannot wrestle at all. Here he got owned but he is a genuine wrestle. Its not like if they were to fight 10 times, Angle will end up in Kimura 10 times out of 10. Angle can also lock up Puder in a submission and do the same. Certainly skilled enough to do so.

  • @DISTURBEDWWEDBZUFC I keep forgetting to look at the age of some of these comments, my bad. I would've liked to see them actually wrestle too, but if it was a matter of who'd win in a fight, when your shoulder's separated it's hard to knee somebody in the stomach haha. Knees in the guts hurt but if you're in a kimura all you're thinkin about is your arm haha. And it looked like it was deep, you can see Angle's body jerk over trying to stay with it. Just my opinion, tho. Anything can happen.

  • it doesnt matter...in a real fight where everything is allowed, all your skills and techniques that you posses, the ufc guys who a real fighters would totally dominate wrestlers......its often embarassing to watch a wwe fight, when you see which gus beats another what never would happen in real life, i know its entertainment, but still.......since i watch ufc, wrestling doesnt matter anymore, its a joke and a fake one.

  • @DISTURBEDWWEDBZUFC Once a Kimura's locked in properly.. You can't break it lol. You tap or YOU break, no matter HOW good you are.

  • Dont do an unscripted segment and get mad when someone gets the best of ya, Angle. If WWE wanted him to go in, look tough but ultimately lose they should have told him that.

  • he well maybe very strong BUT....that doesn matther very much in UFC...if your stamina, technique, submissions or whatever arent any good, you will get knocked out or find yourself in a very painfull submissionhold...Mark henry would be to slow for ufc....

  • Kurt Angle got humbled!

  • If you think about it, Puder drowned Kurt Angle's giant ego (which isn't only limited to his gimmick).

  • WATCH "ASK THE REF #9" on The Score Radio! Jimmy gives his side of the story!

  • very interesting...it shows how hard is it actually to predict how strong or skilled a wrestler is.....because they sell every goddamn move......i dont think the "strongest" in wwe, undertaker, mark henry, cena or whatever. stand a change in a real fight inside the cage of ucs against a cain velazques, Junior dos santos or that kind of fighter.....

  • @Bribasse82 However Mark Henry was an Olympic weightlifter so he is VERY strong.

  • @Bribasse82 you know that you can't actually punch in wrestling right? All you can do is open hand punch which basicly does no damage. If there was MMA vs wrestling fight, punches wouldn't be allowed and mma guys would have hard time keeping up with proper wrestler (daniel bryan could easily fight top UFC guys)

  • 1:08

    "You broke kayfabe"

  • idk what kurt angle is blabbing about hes just as much as a scrub as they are in the wwe he hasnt been there to long

  • I think Puder was stupid for doing this. If he wants to be a pro wrestler, be a pro wrestler. I'm not surprised he was released soon after he won.

  • My god this whole comment section is FILLED with morons and this whole pro-wrestling fans vs mma fans war going on is just fucking stupid beyond belief!

2 or 3 people seem to understand exactly what happened here while everyone else is speculating and talking absolute shit!

  • let them fight dont pussy out and pin him, puder had him lol

  • at least it seems that way because Puder didn't last long while the Miz would go to be the world heavyweight champion

  • and to think Puder lost Tough Enough to the Miz

  • @JColon718 Puder won Tough Enough over the Miz. As time went on Miz prevailed as a WWE superstar.

  • @JColon718 No, miz actually lost...

  • LOL at Cole saying "shoulders are down!" despite both of them being raised up because he was applying the hold.

  • Puder didn't "shoot on" Angle. The entire thing was a shoot.

  • Did any body notice Puder was trying to shake Angle's hand after the match that he 'clearly' would have won but hey thats television 4 ya.

  • @DMaddox2010 Nice plagiarism.

  • He should have broken the arm.

  • damm kurt angle knows how to wrestle

  • Kurt angle know how to wrestle

  • i like what puder did but did he really think he was gonna take angle down with that shot?

  • Comment removed

  • Sad thing is, had Angle not been an emotional duchebag, he could have actually done something with integritty. Since he was shoot fighting, and all the other guy did was shoot back, Angle could have made Puder a star. With some more wrestling training, he could have main evented together and sold some tickets. Angle should have gotten on the mike and said, "hold on, hold on, this kid! **pointing to Puder** He's REALLY got something! You suurprised me son! I'm rooting for YOU on tough enough!"

  • @meathead320 I agree, man. They could adone like an old school wrestling style title match, like legit wrestling. maybe opened up some kids eyes to other stuff.

  • This is a priceless video. Kurt Angle was seconds away from either having to tap, or to have his arm broken. That kimura was pretty tight. At the very end, Puder let it loose, because he probably had no idea why the ref was pounding on the mat. Kurt Angle is such a fucking loser. I LOVE that Dana White said he failed the UFC physicals. Definitely for steroids, as Kurt was a juiced up freak not too long ago.

  • @MrJaketthomas Haha it wasn't for roids you clown. His neck is completely shot and Dana and company didn't want to risk him becoming a paraplegic in a UFC fight. You "definitely" make shit up but keep saying "definitely" and you might fool somebody one day.

  • @crushednutz Clown? Why on Earth would you try to flex your internet muscles against me? I really don't understand how or why people get so tough on youtube. You want to talk tough, do it face to face, and face to face only, because you just might get hit.

  • Daniel's shoulders look down for the 3 count.

  • @JimmyEatBlinkRcr would you please shut the fuck up (angle wanted a real match) WHAT this is pro wrestling not gay MMA puder tried to make a name for himself and failed where is he know NOWHERE, What a classless piece of shit just like you.

  • @jellybean8412 Did you say that MMA is gay? News to me..

  • @DMaddox2010 congratulations on the copy and paste faggot

  • @RyanDahlReturns Faggot - takes one to know one :)

  • @DMaddox2010 this exact same comment has been posted a bunch of times on other vids worded exactly the same. Good ol' Ctrl + C/V huh

  • @DMaddox2010 why u copying what dave meltzer said ?

  • @bellers01 To put it right rather than people keep saying, iv put the correct description up rather than read all the wrong answers

  • @DMaddox2010 congrats you copied and pasted off wikipedia...

  • @DMaddox2010 straight from wikipedia lol

  • WWE is so gay...Kurt Faghole would have had his shoulder broken lololol. But he's such a great "wrestler"!

  • @94bok Faghole? that not even clever are you like 9? Get a life you idiotic screw up to life

  • @94bok He is, thoug. Olympic Champion. He had a FANTASTIC match for his olympic win, too. The fact that he nowdoes entertainment, well... Olympic Gold only pays the bills so long, unfortunately,

  • at 0:58 lol kurt angle said "holy crap".

  • generate options that help disputants to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. Flexible any settlement reached should have the agreement of all parties.

  • lmao! ref SAVED angle

  • Surprised UFC didn't sue WWE for the commentators blatant attempt to hype their own wrestlers using the UFC brand while also trying to tarnish the UFC brand. The fact is that Puder was a mixed-martial artist that never competed in the UFC and to call him a UFC fighter is shameful, but he stilled kicked kurt angle's ass.

  • I don't know why people are defending Puder. Yes he was an mixed martial artist, but this is the WWE, which is pro wrestling, so he had no good reason to do that. It was extremely unprofessional.

  • @killcrab872

Because only moments earlier Kurt Angle faced another competitor and BROKE THE GUYS RIBS ON PURPOSE, as his way of "hazing" the new guys, whose unprofessional now?

  • @killcrab872 what you mean? Undertaker submits people all the time amirite?

  • @killcrab872 Angle was out to "haze" all the new kids, he deliberately botched a move that broke the ribs of the guy who was in before puder. so if puder didn't shoot and just followed the script angle would've legitimately tried to fuck him up, and any of the other blokes, puder was just bringing angle back down to the real world

  • It was suppose to be a wrestling match and Puder puts him in a kimura : /

  • Angle looked pissed!!!!!!!!!

  • It was Puder's fault for shooting on Angle.

  • @DISTURBEDWWEDBZUFC ....ur getting all defensive. Talkin about " hes an olympic gold medalist, but I suppose that means nothing these days. Not hard to imagine he actually stopped it" WTF is that supposed to mean? That has no baring on the convo at all. I personally dont think he escaped. You do. I dont necessarily think that you're opinion is a crazy or wrong one ---- I just happen to disagree. Learn his to stick to the topic at hand, and dont get all defensive next time. Its not serious

  • @DISTURBEDWWEDBZUFC ....who said anything about him being an olympic gold medalist or not? Hes a wrestler, not an MMA guy. Furthermore, he wasnt expecting a kimura, nor is he trained on how to get out of it. Puder had him dead to rights, and could have broken his arm if he wanted to. I dont understand why ur getting so emotional about me disagreeing with you, but oh well. I lot of weirdos on the net for sure.

  • @DISTURBEDWWEDBZUFC ....I think its more likely that Puder released it in an attempt to avoid the 3 count.

  • LOL @ the end.

  • Kurt Angle seemed legit pissed.

  • Lol the WWE would mention the UFC when it wasn't that big. Now they're afraid to mention it and lose fans.

  • @ixslipknotxi Yeah even when daniel puder had NEVER Competed in the UFC..

  • @ixslipknotxi I don't think Vince would care if UFC was mentioned in the WWE. Dana White has even stated that he loves the WWE, and has nothing but respect for Vince McMahon.

  • @ixslipknotxi No they mention UFC all the time in WWE DId you Know. They wont lose fans to UFC, they out number them like 3:1

  • If he wanted to embarrass Kurt (without riskng his job) he should have attempted to use the kimura as a sweep, rather than go for the sub.

Not sure how good Kurt is off his back, but if Puder had a solid game from the top position, he should have been able to mount Kurt and hold him there until the ref called the match (seeing as Puder should have had an advantage in sub grappling).

  • I did read that this wasn't scripted. It was meant to put the Tough Enough contestants on the spot and to see how they would react. Puder reacted by trying to make Angle tap out. Didn't help his wrestling career too much with what he did.

  • sort of looks like kurt got out of it himself 2 hard 2 tell

  • If Angle had decided to try to take down Puder, do you think he would have been able to? I know Puder is well trained, but Angle is a beast

  • Didn't Pruder get his ass kicked in the locker room by a non-skilled, non-MMA Paul Wight (Big Show?). That is how I heard it, that Big Show took exception to Pruder's disrespect and knocked some sense into him.

  • Kurt was PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSED. lol

  • @titanfan92034 really i don't know about getting his ass kicked but it would be a very big competition for kurt.

  • The scripted match was to have Angle take down Puder and give him a beat down, which is what Angle thought was going to happen. Puder decided to shoot on an unsuspecting Angle and try to put himself on the map. If Angle knew he was going to shoot, he may of been able to avoid the kimura. But in my opinion, Puder showed no respect to Angle or the business, as Puder knew pro wrestling was scripted but still wanted to be on tough enough.

  • @kayfabes IT WASNT SCRIPTED YOU FAG

  • @cgrcmyg No, dickhead, it was MEANT to be scripted. Why would WWE let people that aren't professional wrestlers shoot in front of a live audience? Puder decided he didn't want to follow the script. Read what I put in the original comment.

  • kurt was jus mad cuz puder got the best of him well kurt talks to much shit he says he can beat chuck liddell but he never steps in the octagon with him he talks shit on puder but never steps up he aint bout shit i think hes scared of losing in front of a croud u suck kurt

  • Good for Puder, standing up for himself... Angle wanted a real match, and he clearly picked the wrong person to fuck with...

He knew he had a background in MMA, he should have known that he would probably turned back to his former training, just as Angle would turn to his...

  • @JimmyEatBlinkRcr its wrestling you fucking moron, its fake

  • @BlueBlazer89 You're fake... you're a fucking moron...

  • @JimmyEatBlinkRcr ok troll

  • For once in WWE, they did a real wrestling match, and that dude, who-ever he was, thought it'd be good to try that, and clearly doesn't know how to wrestle... :L

  • Puder started his own non-profit organization, Puder Strength Training (PST), to help local high schools by donating weight training equipment to their strength training programs and to underprivileged teenagers. He also works with Toys for Tots, After School All Stars, HAWKE Foundation, Police Athletic League (PAL), Shriners Hospitals for Children, Stanford Hospital, and San Francisco General Hospital.

  • Ive never seen a keylock successful with someone in side control, kurt wouldve not got hurt

  • @MsGamergirl20 Well, two things ms, it's called a Kimura. Keylock is what Tazz calls it. Secondly, if you notice, Kurt was in half guard. And you can definitely pull off a kimura in half guard. But, you can only even escape a kimura in side control (if you're the one on top) if you kno whow to properly defend it, and that kimura was in TIGHT. Makes it mad difficult to break, on top of him not being too familiar with kimuras to begin with (having a wrestling background and not jiu jitzu).

  • The commentator who said "So much for the UFC" is an idiot. Daniel Puder has never fought for the UFC and he was about to break Angle's shoulder but I guess he "wasn't supposed to win".

  • i would have torn his shoulder out.

  • I admire Puder for his guts and the point he was obviously not sure hewas trying to get across at the time, but it kinda worked. Good job to Kurt for not looking like a bitch.

  • MAJOR PROPS 2 kurt 4 not tapping most of us would've taped aswell as most fighters.

  • Where Puder's shoulders up? I thought they remained down till the 3 count.

  • Puder is a fucking asshole! This is PROFESSIONAL wrestling. If he is scheulded to lose - then lose.

  • @Th3Juic3 Eh? This was a shoot, not a work. It was just the WWE and Angle were silly enough to try that live on tele, with an actual fighter.

  • @Th3Juic3 He wasn't scheduled to do anything... however I do believe if you put let's say evan bourne in that position, he would have had the nouse to know he was supposed to lose.

  • this was a wrestling match not a MMA fight...daniel pinned himself

  • this was an amateur match right? you don't need a 3 count, you only need a 1 count to win!

  • @sshhmayisroelhashem1 My thoughts exactly!

  • the most real wrestling I've ever seen in pro wrestling :P from both

  • Wow, that ref saved his ass big time... it was starting to really get cranked.

  • You gotta give credit to Angle here!

Dave meltzer said most MMA fighters would have tapped out already, Angle couldn't, for obvious reasons! It just shows Angle was trying not to tap for as long as he could!

    One tough sonofabitch!

  • he had the kimura locked in but he had his shoulders down

  • Puder is a good wrestler but Kurt is a Olympic Gold Medalist

  • I woulda made angle tap!!! angle still my boi doe.

  • I wanna know what angle was saying to him after the pin

  • eh, props to Daniel for being a skilled athlete though. Kind of wish he would stay with WWE longer and become one of the more popular stars, preferably as a heel. I think he would be able to pull that off well. This MMA / UFC vs WWE stuff should be taken to another, more related video in my opinion but whatever.

  • @SnowCavern20 Puder wasn't cut out for the WWE & it was an honor for him to even be in that ring with Kurt Angle in the first place in a WRESTLING match not a MMA fight so it was very disrespectful for Puder to try & hurt Kurt with that Key Lock as once again this is Pro Wrestling not MMA & Puder's arrogant ass was just trying to show off & make a name for himself without worrying about Kurts well being. Fuck Puder he's an ass hole who got what he deserved at the Royal Rumble.

  • Gotta be honest Puder looked pretty damn intimidated after that match. I think he maybe realised he was a dick...

  • @ryan221736 STFU. Kurt has earned shit no UFC bitch has earned.

  • Angle is a bitch!!! MMA is real not scripted! He says no one is tough enough? I would love to see him fight a Rampage Jackson or a Rashad Evans in a UFC Octagon.

  • @ryan221736 and i would love to see them wrestle an olympic gold medalist of equal age and win. saying a professional MMA fighter is better at fighting an MMA match isn't earth shattering you dumbass. but if you want to play that game....i bet lebron james could beat angle in a basketball game, and sidney crosby is a better hockey player than him too.

  • @ManIn0rbit Lebron couldn't beat Angle in a basketball game. LOL.

  • @Equilibr1st i tried listening too, but i think WWE silenced it.

  • When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong.

  • Whats kurt angle saying there? Just after it ended

  • angle would kill puder in a real wrestling match

  • kimura Lock Dam.
