The body needs nutrition, and the only way we can replenish that need is by eating. If breatharians are telling the truth, their bodies would be contradicting the law of conservation of energy. What do you think is more likely: that the laws of physics simply don't apply to these people, or that they are lying/deluded? There are plenty of examples of deluded people. NEVER has the conservation of energy not applied.
