I wonder if any of the caterpillars, that were sent, became moths instead of butterflies. How can you tell the difference between a moth caterpillar and a butterfly one.
We not only paid for it - we will DEFINITELY by additional larvae each season. This is too cool. My daughter is 5 and it's not so easy to get close to nature in the deserts of Arizona. This has taught her so much about patience and cycles of life - even the jingle from the commercial - watch them grow then let them go - has real meaning for her now.
"After a few days, take your butterflies outside and release them back to nature! Then you can order more butterflies and do it all over again!"
What a load of bullshit. This is exactly how greedy bastards trick kids into throwing away money. Mask the product with something kids love, even if you're dumping money down the drain. Yeah way to go- teach your kids that you can throw away your money on worthless crap like this.
yeah... like there going to realease them. they dont give a fuck about the buttergly, they just want the damn money. its not like everyone is as nice as them.
Wow! My little girl was so excited when she got this for her birthday last week, and she is still loving it today. The caterpillars arrived in great shape and she just is so tickled to watch them grow. And she is learning so much! Be prepared for a little bit of work though. This is a great item for a child, but it does take involvement from the parent.
