up to 71*C your fine past 71*C go water cool, e2200 is able to run at 3.3ghz with maby 60*C, do fsb and core voltages at 1.4v, fsb 1200mhz and multiplier 11x = 300x11=3300mhz. monitor temps if its getting high reapply paste at your cpu and try again.
i overclocked mine to 3.6ghz on air. depends on if ur using software or threw the bios to get that high, and u have to adjust the cpu core voltage. on 3.6ghz mines only at 39c. i wouldnt use watercooling for a e2200 tho.
I've got the same processor, using a Masscool copper core cooling fan. No overclocking and the CPU runs about 70 deg. F on both cores. Can't overclock past 2.35 GHz, Windows won't boot. I gave up on overclocking, computer runs fine without it.
what motherboard was it on and what kind of ram and what ram timings? let me remind you im on stock cooling and i didnt mess with voltage either just upped the fsb.
well i have a powerspec pc, and i alowed the frequntcies to aline with the pc unless i lowered the parralell ports etc, i crashed several time but i got it after a while, bad part is sometime it wouldn't recognize the HDD
parralell ports? what do parallel ports have to do with overclocking? im not quite understanding this, maybe we just use different words for some things? anyway, i have never heard of powerspec untill i looked them up on google they seem to be pretty good. later!
70 deg F ?? WOW thats like room temperature, unless you mean 70 deg C but 70C would be very bad for the proc. room temp is around 26C which is about 72F, well according to my thermometers anyway they could be off just a little.
Unless you plan to run the CPU on the ragged edge I would just get a really good air cooler and fans.
Could try a remount but are you talking load?
If so thats fine whats the vcore at? If set to auto please change temps will go down. Start at 1.325-1.350 and go up notch at a time until stable at speed you like. Chipset voltages play a bunch in stability and overclock.
WC go MCP-655,240 rad, mini-res, and GTZ block from Swiftech.
Dude you probably should get a water cooler. Or you can try to get one of those like motorcycle air cooled ones. But water cooled will probably be best. I like your procesor

i recommend using a zalman fan and heat sink they do the trick.

Yep. Room temperature. 72 deg F/ 22 deg C. That Mascool fan does a great job for under $20.

kooleance, 500l/h or more pump, triple rad, 3/4inch tubing

cool, thanks for the comment. i will definately consider the koolance blocks and the other suggestions.

1/2 inch tygon or mastercleer is best for just a CPU set up.

no difference between 1/2&3/4
