@laughton15 no, there is lots of us. You would also think that after many years in print the landrover mags could identify the various models correctly, and get pictures the right way up.But they cant. The mags generally feature writers who are self proclaimed "experts" whose ability is far from expert, the technical advice however, from the likes of ashcroft for example, is usually very good.
@Metallirocks what a vehicle that can off road into mud downhill crash into concrete then still driver out the otherside perfectly fine. yes indeed its a landrover
@24765968 I though I was the only person in the world ignoring lro completely :L Their tips sound great if you don't know what you're doing but when it comes down to it, they don't work. "Approach slowly and see if it will pull you up the slope" is my favourite that I can remember. Yeah right!
Tip: Tie a ribbon or cord, or put a bit 'a duct tape or leather wrap on the wheel to tell ya where 'center' is (or to mark your natural driving-hand position so your hands instinctively 'know', ie. what's comfortable like 10 & 2 o'clock). I drive with a spinner @ 2 o'clock so I always know where straight/center is.
Perhaps the driver was blinded by the fucking gay pointless chequerplate on the wings and bonnet...............typical coil sprung driver. All the gear. No idea.
So putting Chequer plate on the wing tops and bonnet is Unnecessary.. Perhaps if you used your land rover for work or play you would know sometimes you need to stand on the bonnet or wings.. If its free choice keep yer gob shut about what others like to do with their motors.. Whats up got piles from sitting in your leaf sprung series :D ;). Trust me I have got a 2a.. And would any day sooner drive my 200tdi Defender..
This is one of the first things you learn about any sort of driving that's not completely on-road: always know where your wheels are pointed. This guy learned the hard way.
your wheels are pointing towards the pole the whole bloody time lol. think about where your wheels are facing next time. i know you were plowing but bad luck mate. done it myself. but not hit anything.

Before buying a Land Rover, people should perhaps learn how to drive them. That way he wouldn't made an ass of him self.

Try tying a few tree huggers to the bumper , it should soften the impact
IMINYOURWIFE2 2 years ago 4
lol yeah that big wheel thing thats in front of you when you in the drivers seat is called a steering wheel. You use it to direct your vehicles path.
You may want to try using it in the future so you can steer clear of objects such as concrete pillar's.
jonnyd19864 2 years ago 31
@jonnyd19864 Yep, it offten comes in handy when those concrete pillars jump out in front of you.
