The book is kind of pricey...Thankfully my library has it and I plan on reading it this summer once school is over. Very excited! I now this is a controversial topic because people have doubts and I still do, but I've never wanted a story to be more true. I really hope that this story is accurate because their chemistry is undeniable. I hope the book will let me take away that little shadow of a doubt.

Thanks for all the research. My dad had been talking about Jeanette and Nelson and their movie Rose Marie for the longest time - he's in his 80s now. I was watching Sweetheards on TCM and they were so natural that I thought their acting was remarkable. When I googled Jeanette I came across your youtubes. A tragic yet touching love story.

What can't people leave the private lives of anyone alone? Are their own lives so boring? This is why the paparatzzi(sp) still make a living on the private lives of actors. What do you call a person who infringes on another person's private life against their will? Isn't that against the law and rightly so? It's just sad that's these things seem important to some people. . . Why can't the public leave them alone?

What kind of club is this when you pay for a membership and don't so much as get a card?

You pay for books,club pins,back journals and get nothing? They have cried illness and poverty for years.They also have the nerve to say altho we don't send out journals it's nice when members send us money anyway as we canh use it.Hey old ladies we are not out to support you! Also members claim your very nasty also.And you were also heard admitting Jeanette had three miscarriages.Shame on you such deceit!

you don't mention that "the old lady" was hand picked by Jeanette herself to be president of her fan club that has been around since the '30s. what are YOU doing all of this for? Are you not supporting yourself with your "fan club'?

What fan club? You get nothing,not so much as a reply to letters.This JM International club of Kansas has seen its day.This woman does nothing but take money, and this club actually doesn't exist any longer.If she gave a hoot the club would of been passed on to someone who wishes to keep Jeanette's name alive instead of taking devoted members money and making a fool of them. Very sad indeed. DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING!

Read Part 1 for full comment.Might I also add these people from Jeanette's Kansas club collected hundreds of fairly large donations for a Jeanette bio which was never done,and they pocketed the money.Also ripping off long time members! Jeanette would turn over in her grave! I repeat DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!
