  • I would give so much for seeing Jack Johnson surfing =)

  • @19aSSi94 i would give even more to surf with him

  • @SurfinCalibitch Would be awesome! Don't let your dreams be dreams... ;)

  • lol, i failed this

  • Hell yah he deffinetly is the coolest person that walks this earth

  • HE is the coolest man on the earth!

  • hes a bum

  • He´s got a surfboard under his arm, it´s for surfing on ocean, not on streams

  • Actually the short board he borrowed from the guy who helped him get in the wave is great for surfing this river wave. That guy rips on that board. The green 'long board' is tougher to turn on such a narrow channel but gives you more speed to stay in the wave. An ideal shape for a beginner on this wave is a short, fat fish. Either way, this clip shows how different river surfing is from ocean surfing.

  • would have expected more of former pro surfer..

  • While this is totally different than ocean surfing, it is certainly surfing and there is no place like it in the world where you can work on your balance and turns as a beginner. I think of it as training for the ocean. But there are guys that surf here that can carve and bust 360s and aerials as if it were an ocean wave.

  • @123be4 there is always a hater... kook.

  • @metaZen u dont know me, dont call me kook ok...have a great day!

  • @dadave1441 It's totally different, He just has to get used to the differences first.

  • derbe ...

  • no,

his first attempt at surfing "THE EISBACH" : )

  • dude this isnt his "first attept at surfing"!!

why do u think he lives haleiwa? he surfs liike every god damn day

  • that is quite clear to me but it was his first attempt at surfing the Eisbach river wave which as you can tell is quite different than surfing the ocean. I've watched Jack surf the North Shore before so I know how he can rip.

  • the green and white surfboards amazing anyone know what sort of specs it has?

  • believe it's a hybrid with the length of an egg but the shape of a long board. This one is probably just under 7.

  • In the end I decided to try and make one similar, check it out, I think I like it more than the one he's riding. Although I havent had chance to ride it yet.

Add flickr, dotcom to the start of this

  • nice boards. The white racing stripes really pop off of the green. How do they ride?

  • zur eisbach will ich auch mal :)

  • wie er einfach so lässig is:)

  • yeah!!

thats my man right there :)

  • ja, sollte man scho...

  • omg he is so sexy *-*

  • nice vid dude

Like Jack Johnson he is just always chilled

  • naice.

  • Richtig geil Jungs!

  • deutschland bratwurst !

  • awesome man

  • go jack!!!

  • this doesnt really show how hard jj rips

  • i know, that's the beauty of it, to watch a pro, who we know can tear it up, struggling as if it was his first days on a board.

  • i heard jason mraz talking about this in an interview. go jack!! this surf is in the middle of the city eh?

  • it's an amazing spot where people can literally stand right next to a surfer on a wave. Probably one of the only such waves in the world that runs most of the time, not to mention it is right in downtown Munich

  • der mann is einfach klasse
