  • I already fell in love with this thing!

  • i like that mello of 1:40

do you have a midi ?

  • What controller is that? Looks cool.

  • @stillill1984 It looks like the Korg MicroKontrol, which they don't sell anymore

  • I love that thing, tiny box, huge sound!

  • i love my snow. it sits a top my waldorf blofeld kb.

  • I'm am not fully decided about if I should buy TI Desktop or TI Snow. The price is a factor but I really don't know how much the lower polyphony will affect the sound. This demo helps me to form a better opinion. Thank you.

  • Just got it. :)

  • OH MY GOD

This is where the windows 98 startup sound was made with!

    i'm 100% sure!

  • Oshi, CC works kinda.

  • Vairos TI S-NO! Thank You! excellent reviews! :)

  • what's the song name in 1:45 minute....???

Can you make a tutorial video for this song?

  • Those of you complaining about the caption, press 'CC' icon below the screen: you can see English subtitles.

  • nice but now in english

  • @calypsobomber I concur sir

  • hello, im from germany, access is made in germany , i visited the central of access--- but i dont have an access :(

  • What midi controller with the 16 drum pads is that underneath the Virus TI Snow?

  • @BOSSCLASSMUSIC Korg microkontrol i think is discontinued

  • how come his doesn't crash?

  • G8 demo! Ujiie ROCKS!

No matter on which midi or key he plays...he's a master! ^_^

Really nice video,Virus is the best synth in the world!

  • @calypsobomber i wish i sounded like that thing when i talked, imagine being in school, "whats the answer" " 3:50 "

  • Sensei! Otosan! The dude can play on that crappy tiny keyboard but the Virus bass is always weak. Nice for pads and dreamscapes.

  • Comment removed

  • @Franzko787 are you for real the virus is crappy in bass sound hmmmm I do not know if your right but the bass sound on the virus any virus sound amazing.

  • Great stuff!

  • jackie chan!

  • Can a monophonic synthesizer produce the same exact sound like the virus did at the beginning of the video?

  • @nuen8 well if its monophonic then it cant very well play chords can it?

  • @martinblank83 so the virus ti snow is polyphonic then?

  • @nuen8 yes i think it can play up to 9 voices at once.

  • @martinblank83 how many voices (or sounds) does a Monophonic synthesizer has?

  • @nuen8 MONO=ONE. You can play one voice at a time. Of course on lets say a Moog you can alter the voicing to sound like alot of things. You just cant play more that one key at a time.

  • @martinblank83 I'm still confused?

  • @nuen8 i recommend you doing some research.

i lrft a link on your comments section

  • @martinblank83 any videos you recommend?

  • @nuen8

a monophonic synthesizer has over 9000 voices and you can play every key on the keyboard no matter what

  • @nuen8 1

  • That why music rocks, I know exactly what this guy is saying even though I don't speak japanese.

  • DOMO ARIGATO

  • Nice demo ;-)))

  • Does anyone know the effect being applied at 3:24?

  • @jsncrso Seems like it's a combination of the amount of sound destruction and the resonance.

  • @jsncrso i think that's bitcrushing

  • @jsncrso bitcrusher I believe

  • this guy is the KING!

  • 2:00 wooww! I really like that

  • Is this analoge? are like digital sounds?

  • @jaimiecurrie No, it's virtual analogue, a digital synth engine that emulates analogue sound.

  • what is the name of this master keyboard?

  • @BistikOne It's korg microkontrol .Hope that helps! ;)

  • @BistikOne that's the korg microkontrol

  • Does anyone know what the difference is between the virus T1 snow and Virus T1 desktop is?

  • @actyoage

    Only design, same sound engine...

  • @calypsobomber (ACCESS VIRUS ) = The universal language .

  • I'm addicted to watching access virus video's !!! I want one so bad it's driving me INSANE !!!

  • Awesome sounds and playing. Style.

  • Wow 5:00 to 5:30, beautiful. Now I know Secede uses a Virus Ti.

  • I wanna watch Blade Runner again now..

  • @fuckutube21 I know right?! :O

  • the sweep pad sound good on this, in fact it's very difficult for me to find real polyphonic analog stuff and all the clavia and acces virus stuff are virtual but sound good.

  • I had an eargasm. WHY DON'T I HAVE ONE OF THESE!

  • not sure what is more amazing, this beautiful synth or the wise japanese man

  • wow, you are pretty touchy about your rig -

so this not a korg controller?

do you really believe equipment matters at all?

  • loool 2:20 He is going crazy xD

  • I'm totally in love with that sound in 4:15. I've got to get this machine just for it

  • iidesune. konocompyutawahiraganagaarimasen..hahahah

  • Lush sounds! Make me an ambient record dude.

  • Virus sounds great, and this is a good demo. By the way, such Korg microkeys are they for micro hands ?? I don't know why a respectul company make such a crappy toy...

  • @kr61ab67

micro series are meant to be small, lightweight, battery powered, and affordable. they have the powerful ms2k engine behind them, though, and make ripping synth sounds. they are not toys.

look at casio and yamaha for toys.

  • @kr61ab67 i actually like the mini keys. i think they have a good feel and find myself playing different riffs than i do on my other k/bds.

korg, by the way, dont make the virus snow. its made by access. the korg is just controlling it.

  • well, great technology, but that´s not the equipment

rig that some keith emerson would stab daggers into and jump on top)).

and, besides, why the hell does KORG bring out all this

micro-keyboards. does anyone find them fun or

    practicable? they just spoil everything.

maybe the microkorgs sound great, but i will never know, because i won´t play that crap

  • @MoveOverCasanova

    1) In 2010 people go to a gym if they want to exercise.

    2) This synth isn't made by Korg. Learn to read.

    3) Stick to your home organ. That will ensure that your career will be long and sucsessful in today's market.

  • @karate861 he was not speaking about the synth but about the keyboard (witch is the one under the module and witch is by korg). You fail.

  • Nice sounds as known from ACESS!!

BUT that klicks from the keyboards:

    They nerves......

I coud´t work on that way!!!

  • Der Sound ist GUT, aber das KLACKERN der KLAVIATUR nervt wohl ohne ENDE!!!

    SO könnte ich net arbeitemn!!!

  • haha, im taking a japanese class and its more clear now. haha. just a little. access (no) virus ti snow. haha.

  • Really Cool sounds I Wanna buy That Virus :D

  • what keyboard or midi controller is he using for the demo?

  • Korg Micro Kontrol

  • spoken like a samurai

  • @calypsobomber pure lol :)

  • デモありがとうございました。スゴくお勉強になったし、今年お金が貯めれば是非買っておこうと思います!

  • Thanks for the nice review:)

I haven't got a clue what you've said, but it is a great demo lol

    Best regards from Belgium.

  • WOW it sounds AMAZINGLY

  • sounds like tetsu inoue

  • I really want one of these. I would prefer the TI 2 keyboard, but this would be nice.

  • does this thing have hypersaw?

  • Sure! This is real Virus apart from knobs and 16 part multitimbra.

  • faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawk.............. HUGE SOUNDS

  • yet another cool demo from music track jp...thanks again..

  • Domo arigato

  • I cummed a little I want one of these now!

  • yesh yesh!! veryy guud! vijus SNOW!!

  • idiot.

  • tahnkk you vriiy muvh!

  • awesome sound!

  • Domo arigato, mr. roboto, !!!!!!!

  • Nice sounds... funny little toy controller there.

  • Comment removed

  • so is the snow just a synth you plug into a controller?

  • It's a tabletop synth. You plug it into your computer, or you can plug it directly into your MIDI controller.

  • You can use it also to catch flys

  • I use mine to get really angry when it drops midi note on and note off messages, and audio pops during recording.

  • Comment removed

  • ? its a access ti snow is says on the title, the midi controller is a korg micro kontrol i think

  • Does anyone know what preset sound this is at 1:46? I LOVE IT!!

  • Its Snowing!

  • neh!!!?...

  • The Japanese need to start coming out with real synthesizers again rather than this keyboard / rompler shit from Roland and Korg. There hasnt' been a decent synth from Japan since the late 90s.

  • sadly thats true....nothing decent really. just like motorcycles...the innovation is in Europe ..

  • Did you compare the snow with the polar synth?

Is it the same "audio engine" ?

  • Yes it's essentially a slightly trimmed-down TI.

  • they should sound exactly the same playing the same patch ( within the limitations of the snow)

obviously if you are using more instruments and effects the snow doesnt have they will sound different

    peace

    brian

  • EVERY BODY KUNG-FU FIGHTING NANANA

  • he knows how to sample this thing but i'd hate to meet him in a dark alley, all that kung-fu. If your gonna be on you tube learn to speak english.

  • meh. sounds like software.

  • Well duh, it's a VA Synth. VA Synths *are* software, just running on a DSP.

  • You realize that I replied to someone else's comment?

  • Oh I see, a troll. Nevermind then.

  • amazing

  • can I use this in fl studio just like a vst and plug in the notes midi wise?

  • yes its called refx nexus

  • nexus is something else on its own virus has its own vst editor i found out

  • yep this works just like a vsti

  • no it aint

  • it's a great synth as a sound without doubt... sounds is cold even the name shows exactly the target . I don't know how commercial is this aspect nowadays .

  • Please let me know... can u record the Atomiser slicing inside a DAW (ableton live in my case) ? if yes, how you route it? if i will be able to record the glitches on the master track of ableton live inside it, then i am gonna get this for sure... Let me know... thanks in advance...

  • yeah, the atomizer outputs midi, so you can record the keys you hit. That's what i've heard at least

  • those little things are expensive!! wish i had the money to get it

  • Can some one tell me if you can get big phat sound on this .. like oberheim... type of sound? aqll the video on youtube show us ambiance sound or some weird techno sound loll ( i play funk, jazz & electro & R&B) mabe the best choice is a OP-X Plugin.... lol

  • access virus products are moslty aimed for the dance music, mainly from the euro area,

virus actually started out for trance music in the early 90's and you can still hear the trance sounds loud and clear :D

  • what controller he's using here?

  • a korg microkontrol

  • i want one please.

  • Good demo-great synth.

  • cool jap dude showing off a cool synth

  • Virus Ti forever!

  • Time to ditch the microkorg.....

  • I need one, but I'd rather have the TI2

  • Ok, first demo I've seen that shows both how pretty, and how gritty this thing can sound. Sweet!

  • the best virus demo so far on youtube! better than keybdwizrd's...even if keybdwizrd's is good too....

  • I love this guy too! And it is a fact, the sound of Hardware synths are far better than soft synths.

I have a Virus TI in my rig and the very best of soft synths, Absynth 4, FM8, etc And none of them compare to the hardware synth sound.

  • @musicJuna That just isn't true these days, I have lots of hardware synths and what hardware has to compete with these days is pure hands-on control, soundwise you just can't call software inferiour anymore, I don't care how much of an analogue-loving gear-nut anyone claims to be, plug-ins doesn't lack ANYTHING in the sound domain today, just check out plugs like Sylenth1 or PolyKB, to say they sound inferiour is just being in denial.

  • Comment removed

  • I love this guy - he's very enthusiastic, and why not? The Virus is fabulous. Soft synths can be wonderful - I use them all the time, but hardware synths are better and experienced synthesists know that.

  • ACCESS VIRUS SNO!

  • too expensive, soft synth's are just as good

  • nothing quite beats hardware ;) the feel of the knobs and stuff. ufeelme?

  • I agree on nothing beats hardware, but the feel of 6 knobs really?

I got a Virus C desktop instead of the snow, more knobs.

  • In terms of sound......I'd say the Virus is the best sounding digital synth (ever made) - it has by far the nicest digital filter. I've compared it (obessively) with practically every VA and softsynth made to date. With the Virus you get what you pay for.....a totally original sounding masterpeice in hardware.

  • You are kidding right? Do you even own a hardware synth? I love soft synths, but they are not "JUST" as good.

  • it is a software synth but you are right, cheaper synth are also good, you can't hear a differense(synths like from cubase are enough)

  • what did he say? lol

  • Acess Virus SNO!

  • Monster synth !! 6:00 about says it all.

  • brilliant!

  • Love the patch at 4:16.

  • After I saw this video, I went to Scam Ash and tried one out. It was so stunning, you have to hear it with high quality! I picked one up and plan on posting some videos of it with the new OS3 update with new features. I can't imagine not having one now...

  • man this synth sounds cruel, i have to own this module...

  • This guy is really cool! How come so many people from that area (Japan, China etc) can have so much charisma? And I can't even understand the dude.

  • Virus for half the price - very interesting. But I wonder what limitations it has. I've heard of 4 wavetables and channels down from 16. Is there anything else?

  • fantastic, but why drop it on top of the korg? seems like a waste, maybe he is up to something-- less is more?

  • I want it! Does anyone has one left for free:-)

  • Hi all; can any one tell me which Synthesizer has plugged along with Access Virus TI Snow? Pls, describe the correct model ID. It sounds really great!

  • Korg MicroKontrol. I used to have one, theyre pretty sweet if you don't mind the mini keys although they have a full key version as well now. Good price too.

  • The Japanese hardly get excited about anything, but this guy sure enjoyes playing with the "Access Virus TI SNO!" :P

  • Does anybody know how much a Virus TI Snow is going to cost?

  • i think it's gunna be aroud 900-1100 USD.

  • Haha it's stuck on top of the microkontrol covering all the knobs and sliders. that's funny. i'm sure it's a very good discourse on the ti snow! certainly sounds good

  • this dude is cool. :-)
