the sweep pad sound good on this, in fact it's very difficult for me to find real polyphonic analog stuff and all the clavia and acces virus stuff are virtual but sound good.
Virus sounds great, and this is a good demo. By the way, such Korg microkeys are they for micro hands ?? I don't know why a respectul company make such a crappy toy...
micro series are meant to be small, lightweight, battery powered, and affordable. they have the powerful ms2k engine behind them, though, and make ripping synth sounds. they are not toys.

The Japanese need to start coming out with real synthesizers again rather than this keyboard / rompler shit from Roland and Korg. There hasnt' been a decent synth from Japan since the late 90s.

@musicJuna That just isn't true these days, I have lots of hardware synths and what hardware has to compete with these days is pure hands-on control, soundwise you just can't call software inferiour anymore, I don't care how much of an analogue-loving gear-nut anyone claims to be, plug-ins doesn't lack ANYTHING in the sound domain today, just check out plugs like Sylenth1 or PolyKB, to say they sound inferiour is just being in denial.
I love this guy - he's very enthusiastic, and why not? The Virus is fabulous. Soft synths can be wonderful - I use them all the time, but hardware synths are better and experienced synthesists know that.
In terms of sound......I'd say the Virus is the best sounding digital synth (ever made) - it has by far the nicest digital filter. I've compared it (obessively) with practically every VA and softsynth made to date. With the Virus you get what you pay for.....a totally original sounding masterpeice in hardware.
After I saw this video, I went to Scam Ash and tried one out. It was so stunning, you have to hear it with high quality! I picked one up and plan on posting some videos of it with the new OS3 update with new features. I can't imagine not having one now...

Korg MicroKontrol. I used to have one, theyre pretty sweet if you don't mind the mini keys although they have a full key version as well now. Good price too.
Haha it's stuck on top of the microkontrol covering all the knobs and sliders. that's funny. i'm sure it's a very good discourse on the ti snow! certainly sounds good

It's a tabletop synth. You plug it into your computer, or you can plug it directly into your MIDI controller.

I love this guy too! And it is a fact, the sound of Hardware synths are far better than soft synths.
I have a Virus TI in my rig and the very best of soft synths, Absynth 4, FM8, etc And none of them compare to the hardware synth sound.
