    Célio Balona - Brasil

  • Sensational. Fantastic. You made me cry. Greetings from Brazil

  • I heard this on a public radio station, rushed out to buy it, found the CD to be defective, and went out to buy another copy. I do not buy music, nor do I listen much, after years of competing with my child and my husband for listening time. It is so nice, after all these years of hearing someone else's music, to hear Piatzzola again, in my own time and space. So beautiful, it still is to me.

  • Bravo!

  • stunning, marvellous recording. Wish someone would post the Paul Capis, Richard Cognetti version.

  • muy hermoso, la musica es internacional y piazolla es de todos

  • Beautiful.

  • Gorgeous and sensitive performance Cathie. Kudos and bravos to the string players as well. An enjoyable and lovely rendition.

  • Thanks Joe. K& B to the pianist also - who unfortunately isn't in the camera shot...he didn't have a lot to do in Oblivion, but some monumental piano parts in some of the other works we played that evening.

  • There are artists performing themselves and artists performing music.

The first category stand in the way of the music.

You definitely belong to the second one!

    Eat your heart out Galiano!

  • :D :-)

    thanks Theo

  • EL acordeon suena diferente al bandoneón, muy bueno igual!

  • yes, the bandoneon has more melancholy in its sound I think...an achingly beautiful sound. Thanks for listening.

  • I'm so excited about your playing style. So beautiful with so much feeling... very enjoyable. Thanks very much!!!

  • Very nice music.

  • extraordinaire ,j'adore !!!

  • Sounds without life, so, mechanical...

I love the original one ;)

Anyway, one of the best cover I've ever heard.

    Thanks for doing it,

    Gonzalo

  • Yours and Galliano's are my prefered ones so far. Marocco's sounds so nevrotic.

    Alejandro

  • THankyou so much for your comment. And best wishes from the other side of the world

  • I think this performance is gonna force me to dust down my lovely accordeon :'( i am gazing into nothingness and trying to put the sundered shards of my heart together. Please, advise me, where on the net can i find some sheets of music to study from? I just love the music but cannot get any written music in my area. Would be so grateful ...

  • OTTIMA PERFORMANCE, complimenti.

  • Wonderful emotional rendition of a classic. Which register are you using on the accordion in the first part? Thanks.
