Test your favorite HHO machine if effective or NOT. Park the car, start engine to normal temperature, run to 1500 rpm and hold it there by using tools or wedges. Turn ON your HHO machine. Check the RPM goes up to 1600 or more, it is GOOD. If RPM goes down or the same, your HHO machine is ineffective, useless, and waste of time, effort and money. Any seller will pass this test, BUY their HHO machine. (Forget the driving around wasting more gas, or read On Board Computer Instant MPG).
yeah so your an idiot i am getting a 35% increase in my fuel milage your just an idiot who felt like doing a video to trash somebody because your angry about your little dick try to build one yourself youll see the increase
@H2Truckers ; There is no proof that these devices degrease fuel economy. Nobody claimed there is proof; I did not claim there is proof. It is impossible to prove or disprove the statement. Science does not deal in proof. I thought I had educated you about these facts already.
These devices decrease MPG: they do not increase MPG. Deal with it.
If you think that hho devices decrease fuel economy thanyou take my challenge and show me rong, than I will make a video with you and on how hho will or will not work!
I'm tierd of the lies you and your buddys clame....COME ON TAKE MY CHALLENGR!!!!
At 1:54 he's wrong. You DON'T get less horsepower from having less gasoline. It is compensated by the hydrogen gas that is introduced in it's (gasolines) place. Also from 2:45 -3:45 he is dead wrong again. By the way there he is calling an electrolyzor a bubbler. A bubbler is a component of the electrolyzor. Gees why do I watch this shit? This guys a fuckin idiot! He looks like a child molester too. Creepy, unkept, boney armed. Lower your nuts dude!! Be a man! Lift some fuckin weights regularly!
man this deuschebag is still posting videos? If you are claiming something is impossible, it is exactly the same as saying that you know everything that is possible.......idiots dont realize this........desertdeusche is a prime example, I can see him back in the day......."all you crazy people that think your going to fly, THATS IMPOSSIBLE!" morons
@Desertphile Some people dont need to see to believe, some do, but to see all of the successful trials, and still say something is impossible, is ignorant. Do you really know 100% of the physics involved in an engine? Torque of a motor at idle and actual gas used to create 500-1000 extra watts from the alternator at idle, or when a manual tran. car is engine breaking(producing hho with ZERO extra gas) sad is, your ignorance isnt even bliss, just hateful stupidity like a mad kid on a short bus.
1 being greater than 2 is impossible: one does not need to know everything to know 1 is less than 2. Science tells us that a great many things are impossible: your assertion is therefore false. Can you jump to the moon?
Produce evidence that the scam in question saves money: what the fuck are you waiting for?
...mad kid on a short bus .... ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha h LMFAO !!! That's fuckin funny ass hell dude!! Don't you just hate whiney ass little boney armed bitches like him?
Regarding the alternator, did you know that an alternator only uses about 3 to 5 HP at load? Did you know that installing a CAI can increase you HP by 10 or more HP? So if I add a another alternator to run my HHO generator and install a CAI I won't lose any HP. Visit my channel to see my CAI and how it's improved my MPG. Look in the comments section and find a link to the DOE report I mentioned earlier. My next MPG test will be to add a 20-40 amp load to my alternator and see if it affects MPG
I think you need to do some more research because you are wrong. Here's proof taken from a D.O.E. report published in 2001: Hydrogens low ignition energy limit and high burning speed makes the hydrogen/hydrocarbon mixture easier to ignite, reducing misfire and thereby improving emissions, performance and fuel economy. Regarding power output, hydrogen augments the mixtures energy density at lean mixtures by increasing the hydrogen-to-carbon ratio, and thereby improves torque"
this is not debatable it is proven fact for 30 years. the reason the car companies when to one side of the safe range is to reduce hydrocarbon emmitions. This also has the effect of dumping to much gas into the engine which is why you must have a cat to burn the extra fuel this is one way to achieve the goal set forth by the gov. Quick fix. you are the one who suffers. their are other ways but they didn't want to invest to do research for new tec. sorry if this is hard for some to understand.
Unless your afraid you have made someone angry enough to do you bodily harm. which personal i think you have. i which case maybe hiding in your cave and just calling people names is safer. I wouldn't want to see anyone get hurt over some stupid baby name calling.
Just go to the alt energy fest and ask to test their systems. then you can shut up about how everyone is wrong and you are right. again i will donate $50 if you agree to go. I would love to but i can't fly from Thailand to Go. No more crying no more swearing just you and the truth.
"No evidence in the world will satisfy people like you."
Oh, quite the contrary, I assure you. Last night in fact. I was ranting at a TV program (as I do sometimes) about a guy who claimed to be able to conduct large currents through his body: ranting because he was holding a frigging HT wire out of a telly. 2ma @ 40KV. Wow. How ... massively unimpressive. Then he held onto 240V live and neutral without twitching. That shut me up. I'd still like to know more before I'm completely convinced, tho
I throughout your evidence and substitute my own reality. Why don't you show up at the alt energy fuel show in a month and put these guys to the test. i will donate $50.00 for a plane ticket.
why don;t you put that brain to use on how, not no. if it won't work the way people say than offer an alt. Become part of the group who fixes not the guy who just says can't can't. America is great because people say we can, not we can not. Just my idea.
So i guess the Gov test reports on power station back up gen from high pressure HHO posted on wiki is just stupid lies. Seems even the stupid gov can figure out that hydrogen is a better source of fuel than Gas. All i ever hear is no no no from you.
HEY there IDIOTPHILE,,,,or maybe an FULLOshitoPhile.......GET a F((L))ucking life and quit waisting our time with your CRAP....Youre as brainwashed as an UNEDUCATED idiot can get....betcha you have CHEMTRAILING XXXX all over your nasty PIGSHACK you live in.....So->-->---> S T F Up!!!!!
DID NOT your MAMA teach you:::::::IF YOU DONT HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY,,then you better keep your big mouth shut!!!-Where or FROM WHOM do you get your anti-progressive propaganda shit-hit talking points ???
Usually you buy a map sensor that isn't as restricted as a stock one. These are available for people who mess with fuel injection and forced induction. The hydrogen combusts with the gasoline so the engine does not run lean, it's not illegal if you do it properly and some people actually apply for tax deductibles as driving a hybrid and receive such.
I have never done anything like that on a fuel injected engine, but I have on a carbureted engine with success.
If you are just looking for a subject to slam and make yourself look intelligent try something else. I use HHO every day and no electronic devices with daily mileage improvement. Unless you test my device and verify my results as instructed you are making false claims and can be sued.
Theres NO magical energy in the HHO and theres no games and no tricks going on.
You just take energy from your alternator that would be unused otherwise.
You take this energy to generate HHO. You take this HHO TO BURN YOUR GASOLINE MORE COMPLETELY. That way you get MORE BANG for the bug. Simple and clear.
I agree, theres a lot of HHO crap out there like Ozzy Freedoms glass bombs for example.
You electrical energy is not free. The alternator has more resistance with larger loads. The key is keeping the amp draw low. My systems use less that 10 amps on most cars. In my van I can't use more than 7 amps or my mileage gets worse. Your right about the fuel burning more completely. I have met Ozzy and a lot of other hho guys. I was not impressed with him. I group him with Lee. Ozzy did do a lot to bring attention to the HHO movement so I give him credit for that.
1) Engine uses less gasoline, because the fuel consumption in idle has been reduced while RPMs are stable --> less gas is consumed in the city traffic. 2) Engine runs cooler, because of the H2o vapor that is released after burning the HHO. 3) HHO helps the fuel to burn more completely because it aids to crack the gasoline molecules. 4) Engine needs less gas on the highway too, because HHO provides additional power to the gasoline-bang --> 1/2 throttle as good as 3/4 throttle.
Oh well youre gonna say its the load on the alternator that does increase the RPM.
Ok, take a stationary hho generator and power it with an external power supply and let the gas flow into the intake manifold. Surprise, surprise RPM increases.
Do you finally get the point ?!
Back to our carburated vehicle with the hho generator installed and now running with increased RPM.
Let's take a good old screwdriver and lean down the mixture on the carburator.
I've completely watched your video to get an idea of your thoughts. Now it's my turn.
Well, you're talking about computer-controlled engines in modern vehicles. OK.
Let's take an HHo generator (something that deserves this name, I'm NOT talking about CRAPPY Ozzy Freedom garbage) and install it into a good old carburated vehicle.
Let's turn on the generator and witness with your own eyes how the RPM increases.
You are making quite a lot of sense there and I too have my doubts about this whole increase mileage thing but what about the HHO generators used for welding?
Cant one simply use Hydrogen instead of Oxy Acetylene for working with metals and such?
I know Hydrogen is highly combustible so normally it would be dangerous but as it is produced on demand in relativeley low quantities wouldnt that be safer than the traditional big tanks full of explosive gas?
Thanks again for posting. I am working on a system now for my car to test this HHO fad. I will take MPG at various stages of the HHO installation: HHO alone, HHO with lean fuel, and lean fuel without HHO. Obviously my results will not speak for everyone, but I challenge everyone with once these devices to give it a try.
That's a great idea--- testing the devices. :-) Today Eric Krieg was scheduled to test someone's "hho" device: I don't know if the person showed up or not. Only a load cell dyno can provide the same demands; driving for several hundred miles to test the device requires that the driver drive exactly the same in the same conditions.
these claims are true if u run a vehicle on hho u will get more fuel mileage and a smoother running engine but those devices are inefficient and a drain on your alternator ,also u do not have to touch the map sensor if u put the inlet hose before the sensor it just fools the sensor on its own.
WE can all see hho is a scam? I don't see that and neither do people who have had success with it. My system has been working fine for over a year. By the way, there is an installation shop in Florida now. They have quite a few customers with test results from installations just like I do. Maybe instead of jumping on a band wagon you people could investigate the technology like others have done.
If the technology worked, don't you think the car manufacturers in developing countries would go for it? Like Tata with the Nano?
The reason is, that it does not work. Any MPG improvement is at the expense of power. You can achieve the same effect without fitting this device, just lean your mixture.
You seem to know HOW these devices work. Using the old "If it worked don't you think Ford would use it?" ideology is just as baseless as saying it doesn't work because it doesn't fit your idea of WHY it should work.
I don't care about WHY it won't work, I am more concerned with HOW. I, and others, have figured out the HOW. Pseudo Scientists with a high school "Degree" should stick to things they can wrap their brain around. In desertpedophiles case that would be a pin.
Put your money where your mouth is "Expert". I will pay anyone's travel expenses to the Jarboes Mill event May 30-31 in Md. if I cannot prove by driving down the road that my system gets 30% or better improvement with HHO. You will be required to pay me $1,000 for the ride when it is proven. Of course you will dismiss the test as "Unscientific" and run with your tail between your legs like all the others. Either way it will shut you up.
I am not concerned with you any more than I am with the pedophile, but if you read my statement it says you will pay me after the test if I prove it on a road test and if not I will pay your travel expenses.
Psycho anti-social raving lunatic desert dweller troglodyte who doesn't get out of his cave at all. In the years 1999 and 2000 I spent 22 months living in a cave on the border of Death Valley just so I could write about the experience.
This is this guy's self proclaimed description of himself. Any more questions. How did he become an athority on HHO??
I have heard of the electrolysis produced the hydrogen and oxygen for the engine to burn. Which of course improves MPG... or so they say. Thanks for dispelling this B.S.
Yes, it is true that these devices BY THEMSELVE will cause the ECU to "Waste Fuel" in a sence, but even at worst case scenario and the the ECU does "dump" more gas into the cylinder, you are going to see a HP/Torque gain like running with alcohol, or nitrous( no that large a boost since the lack of pressure in current hho devices). But, if one was to actually program the ECU to accept the newly introduce fuel, the mileage per gallon of gasoline would increase as less is needed. A perfect ...
example would be a tuner car (Which I do most of my testing on) with either APEXI or ECM-Link where you can manually adjust everything that goes into the engine. Yes, there are dangers to leaning out the fuel mixture too much with a stock bottom end, that is know. Currently the lowest possitive test I have completed was 23.75% fuel to 76.25% air. But back to the question "OxyHydrogen does nothing?" that is totally false, but as to the effects it has all depends on installation. ...
No, you can't just buy one of these systems and throw it on your vehicle and "Ta-da" better mileage, perhaps on new vehicles the ECU picks up a little better, but still is does ad to the power you get from your vehicle even though it is consuming more fuel if inproperly used.
Jay, you can't rationalize a moron who just sits back and bitches and will not take the time to try it himself. Another "Expert" look at this guys profile and don't waist your time with him.
"But, if one was to actually program the ECU to accept the newly introduce fuel, the mileage per gallon of gasoline would increase as less is needed."
What "new fuel?" These devices don't produce enough H-OH+ for the engine to even notice. There is no "new fuel" from these devices. No matter what one does, these devices do not work.
The devices do work, just not as well as people may think. No, they do not produce enough yet, to achieve a constant mpg of more than 30% due to the lack of production needed for acceleration.
Do you ever research anything? There is no money! If there was I would have it in my pocket! He posted that "CHALLENGE" and then immediately removed the money from the table. He was overwhelmed by offers from us and ran like a little school girl. He, just like yourself, was just using HHO bashing as a platform for his own selfish purposes. You're ride will be short-lived, however.
You are just as much an idiot as desertpedophile. Why don't you contact Kreig and tell him to contact me again? Maybe you know more than me? Maybe he has money now? I love how you people jump on the bandwagon to attack people and technologies you don't understand. Not one of you have tested this technology and all of you are authorities on it. Have any of you EVER done anything constructive?
You send me an e-mail saying you never mentioned any money. Maybe you should read your own spew. Eric Kreig is a loser just like you. Is desertphile short for pedophile living in the desert? I know I wouldn't let my kids get within two miles of you freak. HHO does work and there is plenty of evidence. Dennis Lee is a scammer. I am not and a lot of others are not. Maybe you should attack nuclear energy since you know nothing about that either.
No evidence in the world will satisfy people like you. All you will do is attack the inventor and call it a scam. Fortunately we "scientific community" know EVERYTHING already so why go forward with useless endeavors? It is very easy to tell people they are stupid for trying and sit back in your chair without lifting a finger except to criticize those who do actual WORK.
Desertphile, you look like an interesting guy by the way. Anyway, did you watch the Myth Busters episode where they debunked the HHO generator? I still have not but I did hear that they didn't add electrolyte into the water inside the generator, do you know if this was true or not? Also, do you know of any hard test data on these devices? As of last year there wasn't anything that I could find which is one reason I didn't buy one.
Have you ever done any research on hho [production, or do you just look on the internet and think you know it all. you my know something but it is not hho and how it works. See i said it and did not feel the need for fowl language. You should try it of maybe your communication skills are just poor.
"PS the sun runs on hydrogen but, you are right, no real energy source there."
Was that sarcasm, or am I somehow missing something? Not only is fusion a potential energy source for the future, solar is a very real energy source right now.
Outside of the context of youtube perhaps I would have realized that. But here.. eventually you see enough crazy things said sincerely that you just accept it.
What a lonely life you must lead to make stupid videos like this. Advice? Lay off the crack for at least a month...you will feel much better and maybe get a little grip on reality.
LOL. If the old guy was a hot chick, you wouldn't be saying anything. And at least he is talking about SOMETHING. Check out some of the most subscribed channels and they are talking about SHIT, complete SHIT.
HHO thing: I see definite problem too. 14Volts X 50 Amps = 700 Watts = about 0.84 Horsepower to make usable H2+O. But not know how much energy (Hp) in H2+O But on hwy only might use 1/50 gal of gas with 20mpg car. Oh sheet, Carnots Law, he suck. Maybe make same amount with new process using 65% less power some day when all oil gone and world in deep shit..
GO GOOGLE GO!
MIT - Easily Splitting Water into Oxygen and Hydrogen
Not to worry. desertphile give better video this time though some information still screwy as allways. Not to matter though cause it not significant screwyness. Point is, issue of gasoline and fossil fuel moot point anyway. Soon we not need any more
"so what if you just syphoned a little of the power it is already generating to perform the hdrolosis?"
Okay, this point is being made over and over again.
Because you are not drawing power off of that which is being already generated. Before plugging it in to the fuel cell is is drawing a certain amount of power. Plug it in to the fuel cell and it has to generate more power, and as such puts more of a load on the engine which causes it to burn more gas.
"well colour me educated thanks for the responses"
Pleasure. Google "aarkvark HHO" and the first hit should be the NZ site, owned by YT user "Xjet". He thoroughly trashes, using real science and examples, the HHO scams. The more people made aware of these car-damaging kits, the better. Xjet also links to some very telling YT vids - well worth checking out.
"spo running off alternator = ba idea. what about a solar powered version of it. could you actually get your moneys worth out of such a unit?"
Hydrogen is a poor carrier of energy. You could produce gas from solar units but then there are the horrible difficulties of compressing, containing and transporting.
A battery system could be up to 95% efficient in collecting and dispensing solar power. Panels run at 20-50% efficiency. It makes more sense to use a high-tech battery to store the charge.
i dont think it's a problem with hydrogen being a poor carrier of energy as much as it is we're poor at carrying it around. they use liquid oxygen and hydrogen to propel stuff into space after all dont they? (i could be wrong but i dont think so) the real issue is we're bad at storing it for small scale use
"they use liquid oxygen and hydrogen to propel stuff into space after all dont they"
Yes, they do, but.. with limitations. Say NASA fills up the external fuel tank of the Space Shuttle and then the launch is delayed a few days. That tank isn't pressurized, it only holds the fuel so long as it remains supercooled liquid. But since our atmosphere is not supercool, they heat up and evaporate and are vented. They have to keep topping off the tank until launch.
"Honda already has a car that runs solely on liquid hydrogen. "
Indeed, however that has the problem of cryogenic storage to deal with. Plus.. so far as I know, the current models cost about a million dollars a piece.
Since your name says intelligence I will ask you what experience you have with HHO gas? My system operates at less than 10 amps and gets me 30% improvement in mileage.
Theoretical "PROOF" is useless when discussing this effect. According to energy conservation this should not work, but it does.
"According to energy conservation this should not work, but it does. "
I won't be worrying that the laws of physics upon which my business depends have suddenly sprung a leak.
Run your engine lean and sure, you'll get more MPG while wrecking it. This has nothing to do with so-called "HHO" increasing fuel efficiency. You don't need an oxybubble toy to get more MPG while fucking your car. Just jam screwdrivers into the carb. It's much cheaper and easier.
I never run an engine lean. I only use my HHO cell to make the improvements.
I am sure You know how to fuck up an engine, but that is not what I am doing. After 1 year on HHO my van runs better than ever. I was about to rebuild it before I added the first HHO unit and now I won't touch the engine because it runs so good.
"I was about to rebuild it before I added the first HHO unit and now I won't touch the engine because it runs so good."
Yes, yes, yes. Of course, of course, dear. Everyone believes you. Did you know that if you fart into the battery acid, the battery capacity more than quadruples? Oh yes. Methane, carbon dioxide and particulate shit have this property. No one understands it. No one can replicate it. But it's real. Change the fuses to double their rating and you'll get another 100MPG.
I love these people who talk about how leaning you car engine will break it. . Yes leaning to much can harm your engine, but the safe amount is not like it must be this much, it is more like between this and that much. The reason for the computer to set the amount of gas has little to do with performance and more to do with the car companies meeting epa standards. The truth is if you just took the computer out of your car you would get alot better gas milage.
You could get the same effect of leaning out the gasoline to oxygen ratio without using an illegal device on your fuel injected engine by driving only at high altitudes. I was amazed that when I drove through the passes of the Rocky Mountains my mileage went up even though it felt as if my engine was working harder. But using gasoline to produce a gas that the engine doesn't even use is just stupid. Another great vid! Keep 'em coming.
These HHO bozos have never seen a chemical equation for electrolysis of water - the same energy required to separate H and O is the maximum energy you will get out by combusting the H and O, minus heat and other losses to to incomplete combustion.
Oh, and one note... depending upon how far they're overleaning the engines they MAY be gaining power. My experience is only with airplane engines, either full sized or miniature for remote control purposes (very different engines, but the same principle applies), but in either situation you tune it up to maximum power and then back off a bit. To a degree they might be able to increase power and decrease fuel consumption.
But they're still decreasing engine life in that case.
I haven't found a single promoter of this concept that can explain how something with so many efficiency losses (first in the alternator and then in the fuel cell, total of probably more than 50% of the initial power gained from burning fuel lost in the process) can boost efficiency. End result you burn X amount of gas to split water and gain the equivalent energy of LESS THAN X.
I really want to ask these clowns what they think would happen if they took, say, a full battery, used it to run an electrolysis unit, and used the gas output to run a motor.
Unless that thing should run forever, this concept is fundamentally flawed. Any of you HHO rebels out there think you can make this work?
Dennis Lee and other crooks claim that "hydrogen acts as a catalyst with gasoline" causing it to "burn faster." A catalyst! Good bloody gods that's funny. These bastards cannot even be bothered to look up what a catalyst is, and they know their victims won't bother either.
I do agree that you've narrowed in on how the scam works, though. They're over-leaning their engines, reducing fuel consumption and engine life. I'd love to listen to one of those modified engines when it's put under heavy acceleration. I wonder if I could hear any pinging.
"Ah, but that's fixed by purchasing the Amazing Anti-Ping Magnet! It reduces pinging, and increases MPG by another 200%!"
I drove my car into an eletromagnet station in 1972 and haven't had to fuel it since. In fact every morning I have to mop all the fucking petrol that's burst from the filling cap and greased up the drive again.
Of course, the magnet on my mains meter puts just the right amount of energy into the system for the house. Couldn't really do with petrol pissing out of the sockets
Yep you have it on this one. You left out that the sensor due to the fuel ratio changing will also get strange results in the on board computer calculations that show on his on board meter.
On Lee's the scam is in the scientific fill er up test they do. That is the only one used for the guarantee. It is in the additive man. Of course his device for adjusting the computer is similar so some times the on board computer may give the wrong MPG also.
Of course the best way to save gas is to not drive your vehicle. I drive much less now that I have no work so I will be saving hundreds of dollars every month and polluting way less than I used to. Of course I will most likely starve to death as a result....
So, you mean to tell me that the light-up, sci-fi-looking thing under the hood DOESN'T actually do any good?! BUT LOOK AT ALL THE LIGHTS! AND THE BUBBLES! IT HAS TO WORK!!! Right?
if he made a wind farm to harvest HHO or solar that powers a battery that powers a hydrolysis machine to make HHO then he would really save gas but otherwise physics wont allow it
I doubt anyone wants to carry hydrogen in their car its deadly flammable fuck it powers the fucking SUN!
The answer is obvious. He merely needs to mount a wind turbine generator on top of his vehicle to provide that extra power for the HHO generator. Though it might not help much around town, and driving under bridges might be difficult with a 60 foot tower on top of your car. But he can work out those details... LOL
You know you could sell that idea to these idiots if you don't tell them about the additional drag, and reduced efficiency it produces. I bet someone's already done the wind-turbine-generator-on-the-car schtick though. LOL
Also the engine runs hotter -- which is a problem for alluminum engine blocks. In private pilot training the instructures cautioned us against running too lean since the fuel is part of the cooling system and leaning it out causes too much heat and lowers the life of the engine -- lowers the time between engine overhauls. These stupid fucks selling these fgrauds KNOW that they're committing fraud, knowing that altering the measurement system is a violation of law.

Continued...
BlackDogSociety 2 years ago
this is not debatable it is proven fact for 30 years. the reason the car companies when to one side of the safe range is to reduce hydrocarbon emmitions.

PART 5
But that doesnt mean, that a properly constructed HHO generator doesnt improve your MPG when its done right.
Oh, BTW:
They used this technology in WW2 to prolong the gas mileage of their tanks.
I dont think that theyd have used this method if it would not be of any profit, especially in times of war...
But you have to do it the right way.
(Back then there was no MAF and no O2 sensor and all the crap we have in modern vehicles).
So, what do you think, Desertphile? Let me know.
eatbutnotpuke 2 years ago
"But that doesnt mean, that a properly constructed HHO generator doesnt improve your MPG when its done right."

notyoursister 2 years ago 2
PART 4
Conclusion:
Theres NO magical energy in the HHO and theres no games and no tricks going on.
You just take energy from your alternator that would be unused otherwise.
You take this energy to generate HHO. You take this HHO TO BURN YOUR GASOLINE MORE COMPLETELY. That way you get MORE BANG for the bug. Simple and clear.
I agree, theres a lot of HHO crap out there like Ozzy Freedoms glass bombs for example.
eatbutnotpuke 2 years ago
You electrical energy is not free. The alternator has more resistance with larger loads. The key is keeping the amp draw low. My systems use less that 10 amps on most cars. In my van I can't use more than 7 amps or my mileage gets worse. Your right about the fuel burning more completely. I have met Ozzy and a lot of other hho guys. I was not impressed with him. I group him with Lee. Ozzy did do a lot to bring attention to the HHO movement so I give him credit for that.
onecraftydude 2 years ago
PART 3
Result:
1) Engine uses less gasoline, because the fuel consumption in idle has been reduced while RPMs are stable --> less gas is consumed in the city traffic. 2) Engine runs cooler, because of the H2o vapor that is released after burning the HHO. 3) HHO helps the fuel to burn more completely because it aids to crack the gasoline molecules. 4) Engine needs less gas on the highway too, because HHO provides additional power to the gasoline-bang --> 1/2 throttle as good as 3/4 throttle.
eatbutnotpuke 2 years ago
PART 2
Oh well youre gonna say its the load on the alternator that does increase the RPM.
Ok, take a stationary hho generator and power it with an external power supply and let the gas flow into the intake manifold. Surprise, surprise RPM increases.
Do you finally get the point ?!
Back to our carburated vehicle with the hho generator installed and now running with increased RPM.
Let's take a good old screwdriver and lean down the mixture on the carburator.
eatbutnotpuke 2 years ago
PART 1
Dear Desertphile.
Let's turn on the generator and witness with your own eyes how the RPM increases.
eatbutnotpuke 2 years ago

ScienceScott 2 years ago
That's a great idea--- testing the devices. :-) Today Eric Krieg was scheduled to test someone's "hho" device: I don't know if the person showed up or not. Only a load cell dyno can provide the same demands; driving for several hundred miles to test the device requires that the driver drive exactly the same in the same conditions.
Desertphile 2 years ago
these claims are true if u run a vehicle on hho u will get more fuel mileage and a smoother running engine but those devices are inefficient and a drain on your alternator ,also u do not have to touch the map sensor if u put the inlet hose before the sensor it just fools the sensor on its own.

WE can all see hho is a scam? I don't see that and neither do people who have had success with it. My system has been working fine for over a year. By the way, there is an installation shop in Florida now. They have quite a few customers with test results from installations just like I do. Maybe instead of jumping on a band wagon you people could investigate the technology like others have done.
onecraftydude 2 years ago
If the technology worked, don't you think the car manufacturers in developing countries would go for it? Like Tata with the Nano?
The reason is, that it does not work. Any MPG improvement is at the expense of power. You can achieve the same effect without fitting this device, just lean your mixture.
asianlife53 2 years ago
You seem to know HOW these devices work. Using the old "If it worked don't you think Ford would use it?" ideology is just as baseless as saying it doesn't work because it doesn't fit your idea of WHY it should work.
I don't care about WHY it won't work, I am more concerned with HOW. I, and others, have figured out the HOW. Pseudo Scientists with a high school "Degree" should stick to things they can wrap their brain around. In desertpedophiles case that would be a pin.

"OxyHydrogen does nothing?"
That is correct: these devices do nothing positive: they in fact waste gasoline. If you have any evidence otherwise, step forward and produce it.
Desertphile 2 years ago
Yes, it is true that these devices BY THEMSELVE will cause the ECU to "Waste Fuel" in a sence, but even at worst case scenario and the the ECU does "dump" more gas into the cylinder, you are going to see a HP/Torque gain like running with alcohol, or nitrous( no that large a boost since the lack of pressure in current hho devices). But, if one was to actually program the ECU to accept the newly introduce fuel, the mileage per gallon of gasoline would increase as less is needed. A perfect ...
jay209015 2 years ago
example would be a tuner car (Which I do most of my testing on) with either APEXI or ECM-Link where you can manually adjust everything that goes into the engine. Yes, there are dangers to leaning out the fuel mixture too much with a stock bottom end, that is know. Currently the lowest possitive test I have completed was 23.75% fuel to 76.25% air. But back to the question "OxyHydrogen does nothing?" that is totally false, but as to the effects it has all depends on installation. ...
jay209015 2 years ago
No, you can't just buy one of these systems and throw it on your vehicle and "Ta-da" better mileage, perhaps on new vehicles the ECU picks up a little better, but still is does ad to the power you get from your vehicle even though it is consuming more fuel if inproperly used.

What "new fuel?" These devices don't produce enough H-OH+ for the engine to even notice. There is no "new fuel" from these devices. No matter what one does, these devices do not work.
Desertphile 2 years ago
The devices do work, just not as well as people may think. No, they do not produce enough yet, to achieve a constant mpg of more than 30% due to the lack of production needed for acceleration.

the alternator is running anyway isnt it? so what if you just syphoned a little of the power it is already generating to perform the hdrolosis?
kitrana 2 years ago
"so what if you just syphoned a little of the power it is already generating to perform the hdrolosis?"
Okay, this point is being made over and over again.
Because you are not drawing power off of that which is being already generated. Before plugging it in to the fuel cell is is drawing a certain amount of power. Plug it in to the fuel cell and it has to generate more power, and as such puts more of a load on the engine which causes it to burn more gas.
NomadSoul76 2 years ago
"the alternator is running anyway isnt it? so what if you just syphoned a little of the power it is already generating to perform the hdrolosis?"
To generate a truly useful amount of hydrogen, you would need a much, much bigger alternator for a start.
Plus you might as well just burn the gas.

ArtificialCleverenAI 2 years ago
i dont think it's a problem with hydrogen being a poor carrier of energy as much as it is we're poor at carrying it around. they use liquid oxygen and hydrogen to propel stuff into space after all dont they? (i could be wrong but i dont think so) the real issue is we're bad at storing it for small scale use
kitrana 2 years ago
"they use liquid oxygen and hydrogen to propel stuff into space after all dont they"
Yes, they do, but.. with limitations. Say NASA fills up the external fuel tank of the Space Shuttle and then the launch is delayed a few days. That tank isn't pressurized, it only holds the fuel so long as it remains supercooled liquid. But since our atmosphere is not supercool, they heat up and evaporate and are vented. They have to keep topping off the tank until launch.

ArtificialCleverenAI 2 years ago

asianlife53 2 years ago
I never run an engine lean. I only use my HHO cell to make the improvements.
I am sure You know how to fuck up an engine, but that is not what I am doing. After 1 year on HHO my van runs better than ever. I was about to rebuild it before I added the first HHO unit and now I won't touch the engine because it runs so good.

I wonder when they will discover the anti-idiocy magnet.
teenspirit1 2 years ago 2
The facts are that -
1. You can produce a combustible gas through electrolysis.
2. The power needed is to do so is more than will be harvested.
3. If you burn true HHO it will spike the MPG down as burning HHO spike O in the exhaust stream.
4. Yes it is illegal as you said.
5. IC engine is only 10-15% efficient.
Install a user programmable chip for better MPG. These fools need to learn something about fuel curves,
And that is from a Master Certified Auto Technician=Me

NomadSoul76 2 years ago
I really want to ask these clowns what they think would happen if they took, say, a full battery, used it to run an electrolysis unit, and used the gas output to run a motor.
Unless that thing should run forever, this concept is fundamentally flawed. Any of you HHO rebels out there think you can make this work?

Dennis Lee and other crooks claim that "hydrogen acts as a catalyst with gasoline" causing it to "burn faster." A catalyst! Good bloody gods that's funny. These bastards cannot even be bothered to look up what a catalyst is, and they know their victims won't bother either.

Oy vey.
I do agree that you've narrowed in on how the scam works, though. They're over-leaning their engines, reducing fuel consumption and engine life. I'd love to listen to one of those modified engines when it's put under heavy acceleration. I wonder if I could hear any pinging.

"I wonder if I could hear any pinging."
Ah, but that's fixed by purchasing the Amazing Anti-Ping Magnet! It reduces pinging, and increases MPG by another 200%!

Desertphile's vids never cease to entertain.

Golly, my video link request to "downshydrocustoms" has not been approved. I wonder why.

Of course the best way to save gas is to not drive your vehicle. I drive much less now that I have no work so I will be saving hundreds of dollars every month and polluting way less than I used to. Of course I will most likely starve to death as a result....

After you've seized your engine block from fucking around with the fuel/air mixture you can save even more gas by pushing your car.

So, you mean to tell me that the light-up, sci-fi-looking thing under the hood DOESN'T actually do any good?! BUT LOOK AT ALL THE LIGHTS! AND THE BUBBLES! IT HAS TO WORK!!! Right?

well i see imrovement in a diesel vehicle-no MAP or MAF there.
the extra load on the alternator didnt present as less mileage-my battery didnt go flat.
i went further-and the volume of gas entering the air intake was way under 1 LPM,and also mixed with air before adding.
im concerned more about Hydrogen embrittlement than anything else-so i dont use it anymore, because i cant afford a new vehicle.
i dont sell kits i just tested the idea-which is more than u have done.
nothin +ve ?

if he made a wind farm to harvest HHO or solar that powers a battery that powers a hydrolysis machine to make HHO then he would really save gas but otherwise physics wont allow it
I doubt anyone wants to carry hydrogen in their car its deadly flammable fuck it powers the fucking SUN!

Bwahaaha, good pwny ride.
Nice explaining.
Paxmax 2 years ago
The answer is obvious. He merely needs to mount a wind turbine generator on top of his vehicle to provide that extra power for the HHO generator. Though it might not help much around town, and driving under bridges might be difficult with a 60 foot tower on top of your car. But he can work out those details... LOL
anmoose 2 years ago

"Lower our miles per gallon" -- The stupid rightarded Republican actually admitted that he is _lowering_ his gas milage. What a fucking rube!
