My Grandad landed at Gold and was involved in market garden. I had uncle's that landed at Omaha and Utah. Had an uncle that flew as a U-Boat patroller in the pacific with the USAF. Had another Uncle that flew B52's on missions in Europe. An uncle that was on H.M.S Barham and survived the sinking. My Great Grandad was on H.M.S Suffolk, it was one of the cruisers involved in the sinking of the Bismarck.
