to terminaldeity. i agree his(pacman's) performance(solo) wasnt as good as his others but I feel that the song wasn't suited to his style which is commonly more new age slower paced and change beat where as this song was more quick paced, constant beat old school poping music. as for the battle, phar and bio definitely took it. also pac's routine here seemed a little crowded in some parts.

Well this is an old video, I've seen Pacman do a lot better. Sifu was my favorite out of all of them. As for who won it's hard to say, competition wise I would say I would give it to bionic man and pharside if I was a judge.

I think Bionic and Phar took this. I loved Sifu in this battle for being wildly innovative, but him and Pacman just didn't have the polish that Bionic and Phar had. This was a team battle and Bionic and Phar worked as a team, and it was smooth. Pacman had, IMO, the worst performance out of all of them. Seemed really nervous. Crazy to see how much he's improved.

They can be an entertainer, or focus purely on basic foundation as they wish. I'll agree that he wasn't really popping on SYTYCD, but I've seen him at a couple popping comps, and he hits, and he hits hards -- therefore, he pops. You guys need to stop posing as "hardcore real underground poppers" hating on dancers just because they got mainstream exposure. He has skills, and many other poppers I know say the same thing.

Its 06, but Pacman had the best round (his first) overall, but could have improved on his control in his 2nd set.

Bionic did pretty good in both sets.

Pharside could have been more impactful, and sifu had great 'power moves' but he was lacking a lot of music control.

I can see why you think Phar came soft, he didn't do that many tricks. But sometimes simplicity expresses the skill of a dancer. That last burner he did wasn't crazy but i thought it was pretty funny. Sifu tried a lot of really hard moves, but lacked cleanliness and flow and diversity of popping styles. overall it was a great battle, would be nuts to see them each pull out their best. Both seemed to have been holding back. Ive seen them do way better.

Both teams tore it up but you can see a difference. The biggest thing that separated the teams was that Bionic and Pharside have higher musicality, or better use and feel of the music. Pac and Sifu are still dope and will probably be top of the food chain poppers in the not too distant future.

I'm a big pacman fan, but I definitely gotta give this up to Bionic and Pharside. They ricked the beat crazy. Pacman and Sifu seemed to be doing a lot of tricks. Nothing wrong with that, but there wasn't a lot of call and response on their part. Both Bionic and Pharside had MAD musicality and were driving the conversation.
