fine. it's an aesthetic, too, but what i meant is it's not the one that is currently associated with "emo". the original incarnation of emo wore things like dorky/ugly sweater vests, vintage polos and horn-rimmed glasses. it WAS associated with a "lifestyle" that involved listening to artists like mineral, ben folds, jawbreaker, listening to vinyl records thrifting for vintage clothes, etc. the new new emo stereotype is innacurate. does that sum it up sufficiently? also, it's spelled "than".
