Why would jaguar be building a new car with old design. When 2001 prototype was released and designed, Jaguar still had it's old style. By old style I mean S-type and X-type. The new style can be seen in XK models, as well as in XF models. It would be brainless in every possible way to continue developing a car from 2001 (and the design for the car began earlier..).

The cobalt would be a great car for your 1st car, but it isn't. The GLI is nice, but FWD is not much for enthusiasts but for peopel who can't face reality. Solstice looks good as a convert, the coupe is too much of an after-though. The BMW is the smartest choice. German innovation, euro design, and its only a bit slower then the M3, a bargain! The new A3 s-line, 370z, or C350 are also good consid. The BMW still has my respect plus, I heard Carrie is really into BMW's. Just trying to help.
