i have a 4 months old lab puppy i fed him a rice and raw meat (ground pork) i mix the ground pork into rice. i gave also sardines once or twice a week.... she has a great body.. and good appetite
Also, I feed my dog organ meat once or twice a week as a supplement. Just don't feed too much organ meat (also known as offal) because it is super rich and can cause diarrhea, etc.
I feed my Saint the raw diet and she loves it. Raw bones will not hurt them...it is actually the cooked bones that hurt them. Of course if your dog inhales food then you don't want to feed him/her something that could get stuck in their throat. Either grind up the meaty bones or buy some that is already ground. The first time I fed my dog a chicken carcass I watched her carefully just to make sure. Just do the same thing and if they are going too fast you know to grind.
Raw bones break apart rather easily and break apart into clumps of easily digestable and rounded pieces, however, cooked bones can crack, not break, which makes for jagged edges that can cause a good amount of damage if the dog isnt thurough in chewing... as most dogs arent not to mention, it becomes much harder to digest
I had too a big dog,once,while coming home from a s/market,she carried a chicken,when we arrived home,the chicken disappeared!she ate it.Nice video.Thanks.
Oh I miss my mastiff so much! They are great great dogs!

Raw chicken bones are good for dogs. when they're cooked they become a problem.
