I used to Skate it in 73 to 80 It was at Bakersfield and it was so Cool We won it twice becauase of Danny Brown (Pasadena Moonlight) To me the coolest thing was ZZtop was there two weeks later ()I'm a Record Producer now)

Used to skate Gold Skate in GS Every year from 73 to 80 in Bakersfield Dont know if you Remember (PAsadena Moonlight)) WE won twice thanks to Danny Brown The Coolest thing to me was Skating in the same arena ZZtop was Playing two weeks later!!! 12,000 seat arena!! made me want to be a Drummer!!!

i remember Gold Skate being in Bakersfield, back in the 70's. is Ken Orcutt Aubreys dad?

Yes Ken is Aubrey's dad. Gold skate and regionals was moved to Fresno several years ago.

Wait, was this at gold skate ? Or was this filmed at your rink? If it was filmed at goldskate - I'm confused - I remember goldskate being in like a convention center... however that was like 10 years ago, sigh.

It is Gold Skate and it is still in a conventions center. Location was moved to Fresno which is a bit smaller.
