my mom has had MS for only 5 years but its REALLY bad. She can't get out of bed. When she talks she sounds like a retard(literally dont mean to offend anyone) and sometimes she can't get up to go to the bathroom she has wet her bed and its got so bad we have to buy her diapers.

I just want to say thank you for spreading the word on MS. When my mom was diagnosed I was 8, and none of us had ever heard of MS before. If it weren't for her I still wouldn't know what it is. I'm really glad there are other people out there going through what I am and that someone took it upon themselves to spread the word. MS changed my life and took my mom from me. I support MS research, and participate in studies to help. Thank you for doing your part. It means a lot to me.

Same story here. My mother got MS sometime shortly after I was adopted. By the time I was six or seven she could no longer walk. She's been bed ridden for years and she's currently on hospice care. She's nearing her last days now, it's really sad.
